Carringtons Fish & Chips

Excellent chips and courteous, friendly, efficient service at this conveniently located chippy. Good for picking up a meal on the way home from the train station. There are a handful of seats for travellers who want to snack on their way to their train.

Food's great. They have a 50p charge on use of cards.

Don't understand why so many people rave about this place. Have been to better chippys. Food is overpriced and certainly not value for money. Small portions.

Just paid £2.90 for a "large chips" on my way home from work which should be big enough for two people alongside our main which we've cooked at home. Opened them up and there are maybe 20 chips inside, it doesn't even cover the lip of the polystyrene tray. Feel utterly robbed. Now have to walk to our next local chippy (three mile round trip) to pay the same again for what we should have already had. Won't ever use again.

One of the best chip shops in Nottingham. I hadn't been for a while and forgot how good they are. I had chips, peas and fishcake and the chips were cooked beautifully. Excellent customer service and great value for money.

Favourite Chip Shop in Nottingham. Have been going there for years and has never let me down. Now when I go into town this is where I go to eat Fish & Chips. Serve is always the best and served with a Smile.

Went to this wonderful shop today and ordered a chip butty. Must be the best " chip butty " I've ever had!!!
There were so many chips. The roll was so soft & fresh & even the butter just melted in my mouth. Will be back again very soon. Keep up the good work.

Lovely traditional fish&chip shop based in Nottingham, very close to broadmarsh shopping centre and the train & bus station! Cheaper than Georges and the Cod Scallops and every bit as good!!!

Pizza is good and cheap, couldn't ask for more
