Unfortunately today’s batch of homemade curries and samosas will be our last until further notice.
We are currently looking for a kitchen/unit to rent on a part time basis to continue production. If anyone knows of anything please let us know.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a new team member at our award winning, traditional family owned grocery shop in Longframlington.
Hours will include weekends and flexibility is essential. Up to 24 hours will be available for the right candidate
... Duties will include till work, working on our delicatessen counter, stock replenishment and general cleaning and store upkeep.
Experience in a customer service role is desirable but not essential, an exceptional level of customer service will be expected of the successful candidate.

Also a reminder about our decorate an egg competition, the first two entries were received today and the standard so far is incredibly high. The competition will be judged at 10:30 am on Easter Sunday.

The snow is disappearing fast so now it's time to focus on the next Big Event, Mother's Day, this Sunday 11th March and we have a Mother's Day offer available from Wednesday 7th March. Box Chocolates, Bottle Fizz, 2 bunches of Daffodils and a card all in gift wrapping for £15. Look after the Mums out there.

Carr's Family Grocers, Longframlington is getting VERY short of stock. Does anyone have a large 4x4 who would be willing to drive David to the Cash & Carry and the bank (Morpeth) tomorrow to get supplies for their customers. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Lots of Snow around at the moment but business as usual for us, our deliveries arrived safely, thank you to the drivers. The essentials - Bread, Milk and Wine seem to be selling well and we still have some sledges, snow shovels, gloves, hats and some safety sets for the car available. Open fire then don't forget we have logs, sticks, coal and firelighters. Stay warm and safe everyone. We look forward to seeing you.
