As a race, we tend to spend our lives in a state of conformance without making a deliberate choice to; we follow the flock and explore our likeness rather than difference. At carwell casswell, we seek out the tales and document those that don't, the characters that meander from the path of acceptable, those that speak other words, the uncensored. Since 2009 we have gathered thread from the fabric of life to curate an anarchic carpet ride, and as our award-winning films gather momentum, we become more hell-bent on representing the minority and amplifying the less popular discussions. We find ourselves always at the beginning as, when new words stick, becoming grazable, room is created for others. We make documentaries. We tell tales.
