We ate here last night and had the most gorgeous meal. We ordered from the two courses for £10.95 meal and had starters and mains. I had the meatballs starter and bbq chicken pizza. Both were mega yums. We both ended up having dessert as well... Amazing!



The actual restaurant is beautiful. And the staff were ridiculously friendly and polite. One chap even came to the table to apologise for dropping a piece of cutlery near us as he had walked past. We were checked on regularly despite the fact that they had a big party in at the same time.



My boyfriend and I both PROPERLY enjoyed ourselves. It's a massive pity we don't live here but I still feel that I'd make the effort to come back. Thoroughly brilliant meal and experience.

Called in without a booking. Was welcomed warmly with a nice table. Great menu - lots to choose from. But when the food arrived - WOW sooo nice

And had a choice of wines off the menu if you ask!

Chose Barolo - of course!!

If you're into proper nice food, service and really exclusive wines ( you need to ask off menu) then this place deserves to be the no.1 restaurant in Southport. They've got the skills, the chef is a genius, the service is second to none, and I'm a well travelled man. Casa Italia and its staff is well worth, in my humble opinion, of 5 stars. So...what are you waiting for ...enjoy!!

Wanted to vote 2.5 really. Place in desperate need of modernising - it has an olde world facade which just doesn’t work. Service was just okay. Food was just okay. Certainly wouldn’t rush back!

The place has really gone down since our last visit.We ordered our drinks and then had to ask 25 minutes later about how much longer they would be.



The food portion was around half the size of the portion served on our last visit.My wife's food was not hot as well.

We then asked for the bill only to be kept waking for 30 minutes and having to ask for it three times.The table opposite us got the same poor service as well.



My advice would be steer clear as they never said sorry once.
