The villa and pool made our holiday, it had everything you could possibly need and is in a perfect location. It’s about a 25 minute walk to the town and a supermarket but we did tend to get a taxi back as it was so hot, especially with a 5 year old. We ate out often as the restaurants were great and generally cater well for children. It was the best family holiday and we can’t wait to return.

We have just returned home from our first stay at Casa Jaimie, Armacao de pera. We all absolutely loved it. To say we are all depressed now is an understatement. The villa, pool and gardens are immaculate and could not have been better. A perfect home from home. I really do not think we will holiday anywhere else now we have stayed there. We are already discussing our next visit!

Hi friends, a few of you have kindly checked in with me to ask about the current wildfire situation in the Monchique Region. Sure, Monchique is fairly close at approximately 40km away from us, but our coastal area is not affected by the raging temperatures that they are experiencing - and as I am here in the Algarve with my family right now further along the coast in Alvor I can assure you that temperature peaks are around 34 degrees. Let's be praying for and thinking of those in the affected region of Monchique, my family have visited the region this last 40 years and are so sad to see what has happened. We absolutely loved our holiday there in May half term!! Beautiful villa, beautiful village and beautiful weather!! it was a real home from home we came home totally relaxed and the kids loved the pool!! We didn't want to come home. Thank you for letting us stay x

Just back from Casa jaimie after a 10 day holiday. Villa is perfect for a family holiday with everything you need. Photos don't do it justice as it was much bigger than what I thought it would be. Would definitely recommend this villa to anybody ���

I stayed here with my husband and 3 children in 2015 and had the most fabulous time. There were enough bedrooms for each of my children to have their own room and this made the holiday very relaxing. We hired a car to make the most of our stay and this enabled us to visit neighbouring villages but friends who have stayed here said they enjoyed staying local and making the most of the villa pool and local amenities.
