Yes, it’s been a while since I last ate garlic bread as it is rarely available gluten free in restaurants but I can safely say this garlic bread was the best I’ve ever tasted, like ever! It was brilliant. It was like my subconscious was applauding to the joys of my endorphins. We're regulars already and popped in for an after school treat with my 4 year old and his friends today. They were as you'd expect 4 year olds to be, chatty and loud! The staff are always friendly and good with kids but today Amy was brilliant!! Thank you

We have visited the San Lorenzo on several occasions and always choose 'Italian' food from the menu,and the food is always excellent..However on our last visit we both chose the Fish & Chips ,which were absolutely delicious - and the portions were enormous.Infact one meal would have served the two of us.If we have them again I think we will ask for one meal and two sets of cutlery 😀.Another great meal at this lovely friendly restaurant.

Visited this afternoon for my husbands 30th birthday meal. I must mention Angela, who went out of her way to make the whole experience really special for us. Nothing was too much trouble and we all had a fantastic day. The food was brilliant and the kids were even given juice in a champagne glass so as not to feel left out - so sweet! Well done today guys, we had a lovely afternoon.

Visited for my mams 60th and can't fault it one bit! Food was amazing and service excellent, very polite and quick. Girls got to make their own pizzas which is a brilliant idea and they thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely go back.

Used this venue to celebrate my Baby shower. We had a buffet of pizzas, Garlic breads, pastas dips etc, and all food was spot on the staff were all friendly and helpful. Everyone was impressed with the service. Overall fab venue thanks again I would recommend x

My wife and I took two youngish grandchildren who have multiple allergies. They had great fun making and eating their own pizzas (gluten free). They ate the lot as well as garlic bread starters. I've never seen them eat as much.



The grown up food was delicious as well. Great value at £9.95 for two courses.

My husband and I made a reservation for dinner tonight for his Birthday, it was our first visit to San Lorenzo but our friends had highly recommended it to us. We found the restaurant to be a lovely atmosphere, the staff polite and helpful, and the food from start to finish was absolutely beautiful - not to mention we didn't have to wait long for our starters or mains, which was great. The price was excellent too we were on the early bird menu having arrived before 7pm, and it was great value for money for both a starter and a main for under £10. All in all, we were so pleased that we came here tonight and we will definitely be back again soon! We've said for ages that we wish we had a good local Italian restaurant we could go to in Washington and now thanks to San Lorenzo we do! Very happy customers indeed, thank you for a wonderful evening. :)

Lovely place, food excellent in fact the nicest Italian meal I've had in many years, staff very pleasant and helpful. Would go again and highly recommend to friends and family.

Lovely night for my daughters birthday meal! The staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate us and the food was absolutely beautiful ! We always come here for family celebrations and we are never disappointed, highly recommend this place.

Love the food and the staff are lovely but maybe they could dim the lights for a bit more atmosphere and the restaurant/bar always seems a bit cold. Still 5* though

Just had husbands 50th birthday here yesterday food lovely nice venue helpful and polite staff would recommend lovely night by all.

Got home from holiday Sunday and headed to San Lorenzo for tea, food was wonderful as usual and service fantastic. Love this place and it’s firmly becoming my new local �

Got a table straight away even though we didn't book. They did ask us to be away by a certain time but 2 hours for 3 course special was ample time considering we hadn't booked. It got so busy.



The waiting staff were lovely and friendly. Even asked us if we wanted some bread for my 10mo. We declined as we were just giving him some of ours.



Food was lovely and reasonably priced from the happy hour deal. 3 courses for £13. Definately not complaining at that. Drinks were the biggest expense which is run of the mill I suppose when it comes to resteraunts like this.



All round lovely place and top notch food.

Fantastic evening had for my friends birthday meal....the food was amazing and not ridiculas prices....

I had the Mussels in garlic starter and Lamb for main.....was delish...

All of our table loved their choices.. the staff were fab ...

Came here tonight with my fiancé for tea and the service was fab our waitress was someone with red hair really cheerful helpful and nothing was too much she is a real credit to the team!

They even sang happy birthday to me

An absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff are very friendly and genuine and the food is some of the best Italian food I've had!

After a few visits to San Lorenzo I feel I must contribute a review. The food has been divine each time and presented beautifully. We visited with children today and our toddler was fussing a bit (no nap today!) but the staff were great with him. They already have colouring sheets & crayons out on the table when children are booked in, but they also gave my toddler a 'busy bag' which had all sorts of random bits & bobs in, which helped to keep him occupied. I'm sorry, I do not know the waitresses name (she had reddish hair, with plaits in tonight) but she is doing a fab job, as is the manager who is on the go the whole time ensuring everyone is happy. Both of them, at separate times, actually offered to take my toddler for a little walk as they could see he was restless. Children are often ignored in 'grown up' restaurants, but this is a place that accommodates both couples and families. If you are a couple with no children, don't be put off by my child based review, this is not a place full of noisy children at every table, it's just a wonderful restaurant where they know how to interact with young and old alike. Well done San Lorenzo, you're doing great!
