On Sat 29 September, Middle Child will be making their Donny debut, here at Cast, with One Life Stand; how do you go about modern dating, in a world obsessed with the internet and body image?
The team here at Cast have collectively been in relationships for 50+ years, and we've never had the joys of online dating. But we're always up for a challenge, so we each decided to create a Tinder profile for ourselves, to try and see what it's all about.
The responses we got were......interesting to say the least! From getting blocked for 24 hours for being swipe-happy, to our Head of Marketing and Communications being asked on a date (despite being 7 months pregnant), it was a pretty wild ride.
Have you had any awkward/funny online dating stories? We'd love to hear them!

What a fantastic visit we have just had! We came to see beauty and the beast. At ticket collection staff went above and beyond to help us out as well as ensuring all was well throughout the show for us. And I was blown away to find the pantomime was also featuring sign language throughout! Absolutely fantastic place with amazing staff! Hope to be back again soon

User

We just saw Magic of Hollywood. Really enjoyed it. Pasha and dancers didn't disappoint. The dance school performances were also really good.

User

Second time at Cast was such a good night first time (to see 20th century boy) decided to try Spamalot, never laughed so much in my life , end to end mirth, so many side gags ax well as the recognised Python jokes. Cast is an excellent venue and very well organised will definitely be using a lot from now on

User

Our first visit to Cast but well impressed with the venue & the friendly welcome from attentive staff.

Scary Bikers was excellent (well, it was John Godber!). We’re checking out future events so may see you again soon!

User

My first visit to The Cast to see the Everly Brothers Story. Great night, great show. I can see this doing more dates. I loved the venue too. Easy to get to on foot from the station. I would recommend this place. Friendly staff too.

User

Just been so see Spamalot with my family, amazing show and lovely theatre. All staff friendly and welcoming will definitely be visiting again.

User

Iv been coming to cast science it opened and also at its old premises .. it’s a fantastic venue and the pantos are fabulous for both children and adults. There is such a variety of performances on throughout the year and we go to many! Great theater great for Doncaster! We love it

User

It was my first visit to Cast last night to see Steve Steinman's Vampires Rock but hopefully it won't be my last!

Fantastic little theatre, sound was great, seats were comfy, stage was nice and close, and the show just rocked!

All the theatre staff were lovely and friendly, especially the two ladies on the drinks bar after the show who asked if we were performers in the show

I really hope you get a date for next years show in the diary, it will be another sell out night! Xxx

User

First visit to Cast tonight for Vampires Rock and it won't be the last. Fantastic venue, staff were lovely, great atmoshere and as always the show was amazing. You need to rebook the show, you will have another sell out most definitely.

User

Fantastic theatre and seen soon fantastic shows. You are doing Doncaster proud.

Only one beef. It appears to be taking a long time to repair the disabled toilet, but we found another one around the other side which has excellent facilities for disabled people when hoisting is required. As a person who works with people requiring this type of equipment, I was pleased to see this facility available. Well done to the cast for providing an all inclusive experience for all.

User

Excellent show (Some Guys Have All The Luck) and a great venue, good value for money.....plenty of bar staff so not long to wait for refreshment during the interval

User

Brilliant modern theatre excellent acoustics and glad you are doing more shows like this as we have to go all the way to Scunthorpe, which seems a shame when Cast are on the doorstep.

User

Been to the comedy club before, but my first visit to the main room. What a great venue! Awesome set up. No bad seats. Highly recommend

User

Been a few times to the cast . i go to a lots of theater leeds Bradford york london and this is one of the best great views were ever your sat lovley staff spam a lot was fabulous and so funny x

User

Always lovely here, the staff are really polite. Very helpful, and chatty, make you feel welcome. Always come here with my 2 daughters. Toilets clean, outside area lovely, great place to relax

User

We came to see Macbeth on Tuesday evening ,those two guys playing all the parts were really good, they must have been exhausted, there was some audience participation, which was funny and helped bring everyone into the story, who would think they could entertain you so much with so little, and create a very atmospheric performance,we really enjoyed it.

User

Staff were brill.

The show was amazing.

The venue is lovely.

However:

The lack of food available before the show not so good as we’d planned on eating first, ended up with cake and crisps. The lemon cake was ok until the third bite and it’s washing up liquid flavour came over too strong.

As a disabled person the seats were ridiculously uncomfortable, and only one disabled toilet working.

We will return we’ll eat before though :)

User

Great theatre great shows ,been many times. The only bee in my bonnet is the long walk to the bar from the studio and the time it takes to get served in the interval. Can you order the drinks for the interval if you are in the studio.? Otherwise would recommend everyone to give this theatre a visit and have an enjoyable experience.

User

The theatre was fab but when it was interval of the show I went to the bar for a drink and was told there was nothing on draft or vodka it seems that the night before had hammered the bar as I was told by one of your staff which was it the fault of your guest the next day that they had to go without refreshment of there choice at the bar.
