Usually come with my nanna in a wheelchair and although it can be a little awkward to get her in its worth the little bit of a struggle. Our two year old loves the space and tonight we went a little late on and the staff were very accommodating. Love the fact we can get smaller portions of food for little man (and Nanna) it's a simple menu but plenty of choice and prepared well.

My girls love the toddler mornings and are always excited by the creative activity! Last week it was painting coasters for our cups and this week was painting butterflies. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to seeing what changes will be made in the upcoming period of closure.

My daughter has just had her 5th birthday party here and what a brilliant time her and her friends have had. food was lovely, staff couldn't have been any more helpful. would highly recommend

I had my twins 6th birthday party here yesterday 02/10/2016. They had an exclusive build a bear party and invited 25 of their friends. The staff were absolutely brilliant there were some children at the party who are on the Autism spectrum & have noise sensitivity the staff made sure the music was low & it was a calm atmosphere. There was plenty of food and a good variety of food. The children loved making their own bears and naming them...my two couldn't put their bears down they even took the bears to bed with them. They also all got to run around and play in the centre for an hour. Amazing value for money would highly recommend this place to anyone �

Had my sons birthday here this weekend we hired it as an exclusive party so there was just our party in there, and they couldn’t do enough for us. All staff where very friendly checking if we need anything. They set everything up for us and tidied it all away, we literally didn’t have to lift a finger. And the kids absolutely loved running around playing on the slides and in the play area. Very good value for money too. Would recommend for party’s.

Had my daughters 5th birthday party here today all the staff was lovley and thank you to the party host we had what kept coming and checking to make sure everything was okay my daughter and her friends really enjoyed there self �

Fantastic toddler morning with Kelly offering painting activites, bubbles and food all included in the price. I go with my children and friends every Tuesday morning and the staff are always friendly and willing to help. The price is also very reasonable.

Castaways Cove is a lovely place for children to play. The staff are very friendly and do all they can to make your stay a happy one. I go twice most weeks and can't fault them at all. I've noticed comments about toilets not being up to standard but there are notices up asking parents to accompany children at all times, if you do as asked there wouldn't be tissue on the floor and taps left on. If you make staff aware of any problem it is dealt with immediately, so why leave a poor review when it's not their fault. I speak as I find this is a wonderful place.

Went with family and all the kids and had a lovely time xx staff where lovely and it's well kept. There was a boy and girl stopping lots of kids from playing in one part of the area and then throw the big balls at them. I asked the staff to sort it so we didn't get in to argument with parents. I then found out after the children were actually with the staff. So be aware of this because they probably will be there again

Took my 5 year old just to get him out of house, ordered food, didn't wait too long either(must have timed it right). It has so much potential to be a fab place to visit and take kids, but owners seem happy to amble on. I will go again none the less, 5 year old loves it.

Not one to complain but here goes, staff are so slow took ages to get served.. staff to bothered about talking in back. Been coming for years but think it's time to find a new place to go. Very disappointed yesterday.

Kids enjoyed there self when we visited but I don't think it should have been open as the yellow slide was coming away and blocked off kids don't understand when telling them there not aloud on it as it's broke the manger off this place should have not open for the safety off the kids with how busy it yesterday the place should have been closed

I come here after picking kids up from their nannies and it's local to my mom's area I'm other side town and figured while here we'll go their the place wasn't as big as though parking bit a nightmare and the places was freezing cold it was warmer outside than in o understand kids running round getting bit hot n stuff but it was freezing I sat with my coat on it was that cold we went on a Saturday and it was busy but not that bad it wasn't overly cold out aither bit rainy and windy but not cold but inside was like ice even my child who been running said it was cold

We had a joint party here on Saturday and I was so disappointed... As we walked in I gave a list of guest to the girl at the desk and told her that there would be additional siblings as well, the girl nodded her head whilst ticking off the guest that had arrived, the parents of the guest paid for their additional siblings as they entered but a manager came up and bluntly said that there was more children in the centre than on the list and she needed to know everyone in there for fire and safety reasons! Which is understandable, but they had our guest list and everyone else had paid separately.



We was put in one of the party areas which is paid for when you book a party and was advised what time the party food would be served etc... When this time come we had to gather the children ourselves...



The whole time we was in the party the only person presents in the whole play centre was the party host the remaining staff were sat sunbathing outside. Anyone who approached the desk for a drink/food had to ask to be served.



We was then told at 11:30 we had to remove all our belonging out of the party area and put it in the room where the children had their food... after asking why when we had paid for that area 12 was told because they had 2 more Parties booked.



Once the children had eaten there was a lot of waiting around, I went up to the desk again to asked if we could do the cake before dessert as a couple of children had to leave and there was 5 people looking at me a if I had asked for the world none of whom moved other than to turn around and continue to soak up the sun... the arty host then popped her head around the corner and said she’ll sort the cake. Which she did we sing happy birthday, but again there was a wait for dessert, 14 children getting bored and decided they wanted to go and play instead. I then asked if I could have a couple of the party bags as some children at the leave. Again I approached the desk and everyone but the party host were too busy catching some sun.



After the whole party finished and it came to pay I said that I wished to make a complaint and it went down like a lead ballon... how wrong was i to interrupt their sunbathing time and complain about the high level of customer service. I was rudely told “that party host doesn’t stay with you the whole time”.... “you only asked for the cake because people were leaving early but we have a time table we stick too with parties” the manager got on the defensive very quickly...



I can’t say I’ll be in a hurry to go back and waste over a hundred pound again. Maybe your parties would flow a little better if you tried helping you party host out instead of allowing one person to run around and getting all flustered.

Went to castaway cove today as we were in the area. Had to wait 15 minutes to be let in as the girl serving the food continued to do that including serving the customers that had joined the food queue after I had been stood there. There was no acknowledgement from her that I was there even to say “bare with me I won’t be long” would have been nice! Another lady came from the kitchen with a cloth and cleaning spray in her hand, she stood and watched the girl struggle to get down the food queue and never helped. She looked at me a few times and never came to take my money and let us in.Bearing in mind I had a 2 year old that was stood watching all the other children play and was getting very impatient. The lady then went out into the play area to continue polishing.Have you never heard of customers come first?! The polishing could have waited ten minutes whilst you got the queues down!

Finally got in and it was cold and dark. We ordered two full English breakfasts (without egg) these both came with egg on and the sausage was so cheap even my two year old refused to eat it. Bearing in mind the breakfasts came to over £10!

Definitely won’t be returning and won’t be recommending to friends. The only nice part of it was spending some quality time with my son.

Understaffed most certainly. .. arrived and was waiting ages before anyone came to let us in also saw people waiting to be served for food and drinks there was no staff around . Finally get in and the tables filthy hairs and dirt all over it.

No one watching their children I had to remove my little one from the under 5s area loads because there was older children jumping around in there. Groups of kids climbing up the slides barging into me whilst I had my baby in my arms . It was awful . There was even older kids taking the play things out of the under 5s area aswell and running round with them .Think we stayed 30 minutes for the sake of my oldest then we had to go it was that bad. The toilets were disgusting tissues and crap all over. I will most definitely not be returning

Took my daughter and friends for her 8th birthday Really busy day so assumed Food waiting times would be a while anyway but after 1hr 10mins and other table receiving their orders before me that ordered after I asked a

Member of staff and was told they'd not got my order had to reorder and wait another 10 mins received food 1hr 30 mins later cold ordered tiny appetites meals £2 received 2 nuggets a few chips and few beans on a tiny plate expected a little more due to the wait as when ordered the kids weren't that hungry by the time they received food they where starving also made them sit for almost 30mins thinking food was

On way and made them loose playing time understaffed as there was a big party on and 4 staff including the cook and one had to leave to attend party as the pirate dressed up total joke as a kind gesture they refilled my jug of juice so I received £1.20 for all the messing around they did !!!!

Nice staff but the place is a mess could be so much better The place is dirty cold and under lit

CCTV needs improvement blind spots all over

No first aid boxes or visible first aid room or anyone watching

No proper sign in process

Some security to stop anyone from wandering in Maybe better than people wandering in/out without challenge

Over all the place is a great idea but better backing from the owners and more staff will go along way to improve the service of the place

Been to a party today, sat having dinner and my 16month old daughter is allergic to most types of ketchup she can only have Heinz ketchup, as there was a bottle of HEINZ ketchup in the room she had some ketchup with her dinner, to then notice her coming out in the reaction she does when she has any other sauce other than Heinz, so my mum goes to the counter and asks if it’s Heinz ketchup as she’s had a reaction to it the girl behind the counter said no it’s not Heinz! With no apology or anything after telling her my daughter has had a reaction to the sauce she replied with “oh” and walked off. You should not put any other sauce in a different bottle for these reasons and as for your staff, well she could have been a lot more professional on the response she gave!
