Good site, good facilities. Very friendly and accommodating owners. Just ensure you follow campsite directions or camping and caravan club directions. Don't follow satnav.

A well run and friendly campsite that has good, clean facilities. I loved the colourful towels in the facilities. The campervan pitches are slightly sloped but are terraced. The site has good views over the valley and is well placed for walking to Mow Cop for the view.

Excellent campsite! Very friendly owners who made us feel really welcome and helped us out when we needed a break from slogging up the motorway from Bristol to Scotland. Facilities are great, spotless, heated (a welcome bonus!) and just what you need. We were left to get on with everything ourselves and trusted to respect the surroundings and were not pounced on with a million rules upon arrival - something we've found to be a bit of a rarity! Cannot recommend this site enough. Plus, we had excellent, clear weather both times we visited and the views are spectacular.

Easily the best site in the area. I chose this one as it appears to be the only one in the area with an amenities block. I have stayed here quite a few times over the years and the amenities block is better than any site I have ever stayed in, bar none. The Boote family are really friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic. Will be back again for certain.
