The best decision we’ve ever made as parents for our son was to register him at castle martial arts. Castle Martial art has transformed him from a toddler to a young adult at just the age of 8 now. He’s going for his black belt in 6 months time and we’re already making arrangements for another course of 3 years for him. My son and castle can’t be separated now ��

Our eldest daughter joined Castle several years ago as ballet wasn’t of interest to her. She has come to enjoy the training that Castle provides. Of course, we get those times when she wants to stay home, but we also get the frequent times where she comes in telling us of how she trained with a world champion martial artist - of which which Castle have several.



It seems like only yesterday that she was taking her first grading but in reality she has done loads of work supported by a very dedicated team at Castle, and is now the proud owner of a first degree black belt - and working towards her second.



Other than her well deserved black belt, she has developed into an extraordinarily positive person and has a deep determination.

Part of this is her, but Castle has certainly brought it out of her.



What better way of supporting a youngster than giving them the means of defense and also of expression, work rate, compassion, teamwork, belonging, physical ability and all round positivity?



I hold Castle in high regard for pushing my daughter in a supportive and positive environment to bring the most out of her.

My son started training at Castle over 5 years ago. Seeing his confidence and self esteem blossom through lessons led to my daughter and I joining 3 Years ago. We are now heading for our Black Belt test next month and my son is taking his 2nd degree black belt. The instructors are fantastic with children, managing to keep them on track and focussed. We are all physically fitter and classes are also fun. I would 100% recommend.

My son started at Castle last June being a child who was always fidgeting and not being able to concentrate for longer than 5 minutes. He was also quite shy. Fast forward to today. He is so much more confident, being able to say the student creed out loud in front of his peers, he is always sticking his hand up egar to answer questions where as before he would be far to nervous. He enjoys every session and his face is always beeming when he has been praised for a good job by his instructors. At castle they give lots of praise and this helps to instill confidence. I have to say this is the best thing i have ever done for my son and I'm glad I chose Castle.

My son has been going to castle martial arts since October and has already gained so much more confidence which he lacked of. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Deffo recommend as my son loves it!

My daughter loves training with Castle and goes to the Intake center, We tried loads of different activities before she gave martial arts a go and she’s really stuck to it! I think this is largely because the team inspire and motivate the children to achieve their goals. I’ve also found my daughters confidence, school work and concentration have improved since starting her training, so it’s 5 stars from me! In her own words ‘I like doing a lot of training in there, I like partnering up because we get to work together’

Mr lee and mr wragg are really helpful. I liked training here, only reason I stopped is it's a long way to get to and too late on school nights but I would like to come back to this club in the future.

Mr Lee the teacher is a great motivater, not only does he teach martial arts but about being a propa, respectful kind and well mannered human being, would really recommend

I can't praise Castle Martial Arts enough. My eldest son has been going for 3+ years, currently a Black Belt, as a parent they always had 'family' classes for parents to join in sometimes. 1 year ago we signed my youngest son up and because every family member after 2 paying ones is free I decided to tread the mats. Been going for 14 months now, always supportive of whatever age you are, as I go to lessons with my boys I'm sometimes the only adult, I could do adult classes which I sometimes do but as the motto goes, families who kick together, stay together.

Great staff, friendly and inviting atmosphere at the Abbeydale road centre. Love it. Can say I'm happy in returning to do castle to do my training.

Everyone I have met so far are great and friendly while the staff remain professional but also friendly. After my first real lesson last night I can say I'm happy with the service they provide

Castle has been an amazing experience for my daughter. It came at a good time in her life 3 years again and she’s now heading for blackbelt in 2 months. The staff are very welcoming and happy to support and assistant if your child needs extra coaching or the lessons broken down. Some other people have complained about the cost but this is a personal issue and you get what you pay for. The structured lessons are taught in a way for this to become a life style change in all they do and not just for the lesson. If you want your child to get more than an hours activity out of a lesson then Castle will do this for you.

Castle Martial arts has been a part of our lives for just over 2 years now and my daughter has gained confidence, skills and friends. She is constantly set new challenges to keep up motivation and there are regular celebration events to recognise personal achievements. The coaches are amazing and make you feel very welcome.

Both of my sons train at the Intake centre at Castle martial arts. My oldest son has been training for over years and has recently got his black belt and started training for his 2nd degree, my youngest has been going for over a year and is loving it. I've noticed a growth in confidence and focus in them both during their time here. Their dad also trains with them so it's great for spending time together as a family. The instructors are top quality I can't fault them and they always ensure the lessons are engaging and make sure extra attention is given if either of my sons are struggling with a specific move. The lessons times are great especially for a working parent as they run most nights at various different times . If your thinking of giving martial arts a try I would definitely recommend Castle.

Both my Son and I train with Castle and have been for over 18 months. The confidence it has given my Son is amazing and I've never felt fitter and stronger in my life.

As a parent, I find the teaching and support the instructors show to my children invaluable. All of the instructors are fantastic role models, friendly, polite and helpful showing what can be achieved through the application of respect, discipline, perseverance and all round good attitude. Its not just about getting the technique right it's about improving self confidence, composure, self-discipline and of course overall fitness. Benefits from this include better overall health and balance as well as an improved sense of their psychological well-being. Castle does not promote aggression but helps to teach the self defence required by kids of today and adults alike. Equipment including mouth guards, face protection, headgear and padding with a safe floor provides the added reassurance that my kids safety is paramount. Aswell as providing a fun atmosphere for my kids they've made friends that will last a lifetime. Castle Martial Arts is much more than that, it's also like a 2nd family to myself and my boys!
