The Duty Manager (Tony I think his name is) always asks me how I am getting on and if I enjoyed the swimming session. He goes out of his way to make sure the customers are happy.

Love the castle sports, classes are great and trainers inspiring and reception staff are lovely , helpful and patient. Always feels comfortable and welcoming and makes my day feel great, makes me happy and positive. I love it. ��

Love coming to the gym here. The staff are all friendly and helpful. My children love going to the creche. And I really enjoy doing the body balance class as well as going into the gym. Can't fault it

Can't fault the place I've been a member for about 4 months and I have had no problems at all. I do spin class. Circuits. Combat. Instructors are all fantastic. Staff always polite and friendly on front desk. I've also used the pool with no problems at all. I enjoy going and have always been made to feel very welcome on any class I've joined. Love it.

Been spinning four times now, and loved it. The only thing I would say is the abs room could do with some air conditioning!!

Shower only just warm again, mind you the showers as a whole need replacing they are rusty and starting to smell

Attended the beer & music festival. Good drink good food but the service of the noodle stand was appalling. No service with a smile of the human Grinch really surprised they had any customers.

Went swimming today with my family to the childrens pool as i have 2 young girls and neice. Where do i start!! There are rust shavings all at the bottom of the pool which i find not acceptable as you end up standing in it all, then to be told after 10minutes of being in the pool its closing early at 2pm because 2 members of staff have called in sick, and is it ok. Well we said no it wasnt. We then recieved a free swim which to be honest isnt good enough in my opinion....we should of been given a refund aswell seeming ive payed to go all that way and have some very upset little girls. Not good enough!!!! Disgusted!!

Last time I went to the pool it was dirty, and cold. They charge stupid amounts for swimming lessons. My daughter is so much happier in Boston and it's cheaper and she isn't blue when she steps out of the water. However, the staff have always been pleasant when I have spoken to them.

‘Toddler pool’ is not suitable for babies and toddlers as they class the small pool as ‘multi use’ and keep the temperature way below the minimum required temperature of 30* therefore it’s risking babies getting hypothermia.

Very disappointed, we checked the swimming timetable before leaving home to arrive and find the pool is closed. Staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. No offer to refund the parking fee. I now have a very disappointed child.

The place is a joke needs closing down .

Swimming facilities are pathetic, the changing rooms are cold, the pools are cold, great for laps but that's it! Kids pool is just dull, lifeless and un-inviting! We were even left waiting to get in for 10 mins!! And to top it off the showers were luke warm and only stay on for 30 seconds if ya lucky.

Still waiting for the manager to call me after a month and me having to ring several times due to the baby pool being out of action! I pay for classes yet you can’t provide the service!!! The word thief comes to mind!!!

Shame they have no engagement , all set up for body pump and no one informs their paying clients that there is no instructor! Not how it used to be

Once again the learner pool is closed due to heating being broken with no timescale of it being fixed

I went swimming today with my nicece we was about with half hour as she had turned blur as the baby pool was so cold the big pool was warmer

Hypothermia risk to babies and toddlers!



Used to love this place however after two successful swims in the ‘learner pool’ where the temperature pool of above the minimum 30* (logged as 32*) for babies and toddlers yesterday it was not and it barely read 29*

yesterday when I questioned it through concern about my baby using the pool I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude stating that it’s a multi use pool and it was regarded an ok temperature.



As my baby absolutely loves swimming time I thought I’d reluctantly try her in the water, however as much fun as she was having in less than 5minutes her skin colour went pale white with her hands and feet blue so I got her out the pool instantly.



I researched online what a suitable healthy temperature of a pool was for babies of 4 months and toddlers and everywhere it states a minimum of 30* with and ideal of 32* therefore this learner pool which size wise is designed for young children and babies is not meeting this standard. The rude and dismissive manager also didn’t see the issue with it being this temperature in a pool mainly used by toddlers and babies either.



Therefore I do not advise this pool is used by any babies or toddlers unless you want you risk them getting hypothermia!
