Dear all, It is with much regret that I have to inform you all that Brightlingsea & District Rotary club have unfortunately taken the decision to cancel Santa's visit to Thorrington this evening. Due to the high wind, it is just too risky; so for health and safety reasons they feel they are unable to safely drive around the route. Please spread the word and circulate the news to anyone who may have been waiting to see him.... Many thanks.

Santa reminder! 🎅🎅🎅🎅 Tomorrow night, Santa will visit Thorrington with his sleigh. He will start from the crossing gate end of Church Road at 6pm, travelling up Church Road and into the estate. We hope to pause at the end of Heathlands for a short carol singing extravaganza at very approximately 7pmish! Once he leaves the estate, he will continue towards The Red Lion, finishing off the remainder of Church Road. We do hope you can pop out to see him. Wrap up warm and spread th...e word to family and friends. Let's make his visit a good one again this year! We are very grateful to Brightlingsea & District Rotary club for providing such a fantastic guy in a red coat!! 😉😉 Many thanks to all residents, families and friends in anticipation of your support. SANTA visit! Santa is coming to visit Thorrington on December 10th this year. Watch this space for more details coming soon, but please pencil the date on your calendars. We are very grateful to Brightlingsea & District Rotary Club for adding us to his busy schedule again this year. Let's make his visit a good one and show our support. If any one would be willing to help walk the route and carry a collecting bucket, we would be most grateful. Please let us know in setting this week if you are able to help. Many thanks

This coming week is our last 'regular' session before Christmas! Do pop along if you are able to make it, all welcome. It was lovely to see new faces last week, you are most welcome anytime. Thank you to existing members who spread the word and welcomed friends to the group last week. Enjoy a chilly weekend everyone, we hope to see you this week for a warm and welcoming caterpillar Wednesday! Our Christmas party next week, for our regular caterpillar members, is a bookable event, with payment to secure each place. We do have a few spaces available, so please speak to Tina in setting this week if you are interested in attending.

We were very busy bees at caterpillars today! We are back after the summer break and are ready to welcome you all to our friendly baby and toddler group. You are very welcome to turn up anytime for a taster session; there is no need to commit to every week..... just come whenever it fits! We look forward to seeing you next week for a fun morning of activities, craft, snack and singing.... ** Please note** We are unfortunately closed on Wednesday 25th September, so please add... this date to your calendars.
