Cathedral Quarter Derby Description

The Cathedral Quarter Business Improvement District is the historical commercial part of Derby’s city centre
and covers the area from businesses bordering the inner ring road in the north
to Victoria St and Albert St in the south, where it runs along the edge of the
new St Peters Quarter BID.
The boundary is defined in the east by the River and in the west by Friar Gate.

Who we represent:
We are here to represent the Cathedral Quarter Business Improvement District (BID) as an entity, and not as a voice for individual businesses located within the BID.
Comment and feedback about individual businesses will be forwarded to that business to respond directly at their discretion. The BID cannot take any responsibility as to whether a business chooses to respond.
What we will post
The BID will publicise newsworthy items and will forward individual businesses comments /tweets at our discretion.
Our response time
We will aim to respond to any comment within 24 hours
Fans' views are their own
The views and opinions expressed by fans and followers on the Cathedral Quarter BID Facebook page are not endorsed by the BID. The Cathedral Quarter Derby Ltd is not responsible or liable for any content posted or uploaded to these sites by a user, or any content on third party sites.
We will try to moderate the wall fairly
If we do see content which breaches the guidelines we will remove whole comments and we are not likely to be able to inform you in advance. In the unlikely and unusual event that we are forced to block someone from the page it we will try to contact him or her to explain the reason for this.

What we ask of our followers

• Respect others' rights:
Please note, we will remove any posts which include abusive, threatening or offensive comments, factually incorrect, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading information and anything that infringes on another person’s intellectual property rights or copyright. Please let us know if you spot anything of this nature and it will be deleted.

• Please keep it clean:
We’ve all got our own way of looking at the world, including our sense of humour – however, it’s important to remember social media should be a family friendly space. For this reason any offensive language will be deleted. Likewise, we won’t allow any messages of a sexual nature or comments that are racist, sexist, homophobic or discriminatory towards any group and these will be removed.

• No spam please:
Please note, any commercial messages, personal advertisements, links to external sites or other Facebook pages and other forms of spam to redirect traffic are not welcome and will be deleted. For the moment we are only able to monitor posts written in English, so any comment that isn’t posted in English or is written in code will be removed.
