Welcome to the Facebook Page of Cator Lodge, the home of Freemasonry in South East London.
A Masonic Lodge with a long and deep history, Cator Lodge has been holding Masonic meetings in Beckenham and Penge since 1888.
There are more than 40, 000 Freemasons in the Metropolitan Area of London. We all aim to live according to the core Masonic principles of Neighbourly Concern, Charity and Moral Standards which are as important today as when Freemasonry was founded many hundreds of years ago. In essence, we want our members to treat others with the respect, dignity and consideration with which they would wish to be treated themselves.
If you live in Anerley, Beckenham, Bromley, Chislehurst, Crystal Palace, Penge, Sydenham or any of the surrounding areas and are a current Mason looking to join a local Lodge or a non-member looking to find out more, we hope that you find our page of interest and enjoy its contents.

The funeral of W.Bro Mike Wiltshire will be held at 1pm on 24th July at St Georges Church, Beckenham.
A wake will follow at the Langley Park Golf Club.

A fantastic day spent at the Penge Open Day which by all accounts was a huge success surpassing the numbers expected by the MetGL team.
Thanks and recognition must go to Neil and Colin Pinner and their team who assisted in bringing the Centre up to scratch and the members of Cator Lodge 2266 for distributing leaflets, spreading the word on social media and manning the centre as the host lodge on the day.
