Our second cat for the day is the fabulous Freddy. He is two years old and came into the centre as a stray. Freddy is a friendly boy best homed without other cats or dogs. He would be best suited to a home with older children and have access to the outdoors. Can you offer Freddy his purrrever home?

User

Flo (8 years old, Female)
Flo came into the Centre as her previous owner was moving and the new landlord would not allow pets.
Flo is a lovely girl who will make a friendly companion in an adult home, with a warm lap all to herself.
... She would prefer to be the only pet in his new home and have a garden to explore once settled.
Can you offer Flo a forever home?

This is Socks who is still waiting for his forever home here at the Bredhurst Centre
Socks is cleverly working out his food enrichment toy! We try to make sure all of our long staying residents have a lot of activities to help keep them busy. As well as lots of volunteer socialisers who will spend quality time with them, whether it is just reading a book to them or a nice warm lap to lay on!
You can find out more information about Socks in our photo album ‘Bredhurst Cats for... adoption’ and find his photo and write up.
If you feel like you can offer the lovely Socks his perfect home then feel free to give us a call or pop into the centre 😻

Dear All,
Teddy and Jess have settled into their forever home very well and have recently mastered their microchip cat flap! They are the sweetest cats and do everything together and are very much loved.
Thank you!

Lastly for today is the delightful Delboy. He is six years old and came into the centre as his previous owner sadly passed away. He is a sweet boy who will make a friendly companion in an adult home, where he is the only pet. Delboy had an RTA earlier in his life, so he has three legs. Though this doesn’t hold him back! He still loves to go outside into a garden and he doesn’t struggle to get around. Can you offer Delboy his purrrever home? Call us 01634 232471 📞. Don’t forget to give our videos a little love by liking and sharing.

User

Up next is the pretty Kitty. She is nine years old and came into the centre as her previous owner was moving into a property with dogs, and Kitty would have been very unhappy. She is a friendly girl with a bold, cheeky and independent nature. She likes things her way and although she enjoys a fuss, she will let you know when she has had enough. Kitty will need an adult home without other pets, with a garden to explore. Can you offer this lovely girl her purrrever home? Don’t forget to give our videos and posts a like and a share. 👍🏻🐈

User

First up, we are making a particularly big deal of the delightful Socks. So we gently ask you to ⭐️share this video far and wide! 🐈 He is ten years old and has been with us since the 19th December. Sadly, this lovely boy has so far been overlooked. He came to us here at the Adoption Centre as he was unhappy in his previous home. Despite his Osteoarthritis, he loves to be with people and having a fuss. He’s also partial to a warm lap and might give you some slobbery kisses! He needs an understanding adult only home. Watch our video for more details.

User

Morning! Our volunteer Katie will be here shortly with some more Facebook Live videos of some of our lovely cats who are ready and waiting for their purrrever homes. 🐈

User

*Jinx is now booked*
Jinx is having a lunchtime fuss from one of our volunteers down at the Maidstone, Newham Court Centre. Jinx is a very friendly boy who has a very loud purr. He is being overlooked down here as when no one is in the pen with him he likes to lie underneath his bedding so isn’t being seen but he will come straight out once you sit in the pen with him. However, Jinx is nervous around new people so needs an adult only home without other pets, for more information on jinx view his photo in the Newham court folder.

Yesterday Alison and I went to pick up the latest arrival to our home - Smithy, an 8 year old short haired puss. We immediately fell in love with him from his picture on the website and upon meeting him on Thursday knew he was the one for us. He is slowly settling in here but eating, drinking and using his tray is going very well. He moves away when we move around but I suppose it's new to him as well as us. He does love being stroked and we're happy to supply him with all our love.

User

We love Stacey, Jade, Andrew, Adrian, Paula and Julie (and Jade's mum)! They're always happy to work with us and us them. They take in a majority of the stray/abandoned/ill cats that we at Animals Lost and Found in Kent come across when they can. Thank you for all your support/advice and letting us borrow equipment at such short notice when needed. Thank you :)

User

We have had our beautiful little cat Dolly (now called Poppie) for two weeks now. She has settled in very well and is so loving and friendly - we all love her. The staff at both Maidstone and Bredhurst were so helpful and friendly and all the cats are so well cared for. We would recommend Bredhurst to anyone wanting to adopt a cat or kitten. Thank you so much.

User

We first encountered the Bredhurst Centre in 1988 when we adopted Abby and Emma. They both had long happy lives (Abby made it to 17). We also adopted a kitten we named Kizzy on 6/11/04 and he is still happily with us living with a stray who adopted us in 2001 who is about 18 or 19!

Most recently the Centre kindly took Lily from us because she really didn't get on too well with the old boys - preferring her own space.

The staff are always so lovely with the cats here.

User

We first came across Cats Protection in Crawley Down when we found our Bertie who sadly passed away aged 27 in May 2016 . It’s almost a year since DottyP adopted us , found as a young stray, and cared for at Bredhurst .We hope we can give her the love and care she deserves and even though she is a delinquent teenager treating our home just like a hotel she is delightful . Can’t thank Cats Protection enough please support ....

User

We can’t express strongly enough how amazing the team at Bredhurst are. They are so professional and thorough and made the whole process of adopting our kitten an enjoyable one. I have since contacted them for advice and they have gone above and beyond to help me. Thank you so much Cats Protection, you’re the best!

User

We adopted our little fur babies Timmy and Mitzi last Wednesday and they are such loving cats!

Timmy is very timid boy but loves coming for snuggles and cuddles in bed and Mitzi is a confident girl who loves lots of fuss!

Thank you for all for being so friendly and kind at Bredhurst , they are giving us all plenty of joy

User

We adopted jack (now benji) the bengal today. He's been so well looked after at the cats protection. He's an adorable loving soul full of personality and we can't thank cats protection enough for looking after him and giving him the surgery he needed when he came in. Lovely friendly staff. Clean everywhere and a beautiful atmosphere.

User

We adopted Zanya last week and she has settled in straight way! We feel like she has been with us forever. As soon as we met her we knew she was the one we wanted to share our home with and my two daughters felt the same. The center made the process very easy and quick which was great as we wanted her with us straight away.

User

We adopted Gizmo from the Maidstone centre just 2 weeks ago.

I have to say, the centre was far more friendly than the local RSPCA centre we first contacted who made the process of just looking at a cat to rehome an ordeal.

At Newnham Court, I filled in a form saw Gizmo in his pen and was able to go in and pet him immediately. The day after I brought the family in to meet him and the following day we took him home.

So easy, and caring and professional. A great set up. Well done.

User

We adopted Erin, Edmund & Edwina now known as Woody, Jessie & Belle on the 9th August. They are doing great, very settled and are already part of the family! They are such fantastic characters, never a quiet moment in our house thank you so much for making our home complete with our 3 wonderful new additions!

User

We adopted Barney back in February (didn't realise you had a page) from start to finish we were made to feel welcome and the process was discussed..amazing staff. Barney has settled in really well and loves lounging on our bed, although still not keen on the 3am wake up calls for fussing xxx

User

Just before Christmas we brought Chad home. He has settled in well and has become a very good excuse for not being to move from the sofa because we don't want to disturb him sleeping on our laps. All the staff we encountered could not have been more helpful and clearly care for all their charges.

User

I've had two cats from the CP Bredhurst branch, one in 2012 and a kitten within the last month, and I have to say that I don't think I'd go anywhere else when it comes to getting a cat. They are so well cared for and the staff are incredibly passionate about their work

User

I've got my beautiful Misty. She is gorgeous and so clean, well fed and a real showcat. So many people have fallen in love with her....but she's mine thanks to these guys.

I love her and can't thank you enough for bringing her into my life.

User

I adopted a beautiful but shy ginger cat called Percy (now renamed as Bob) back in November. And what an amazing boy he is. He's come out of his shell and is confident, settled and is loving his new home and Mum! Oh, and he got very spoilt at Christmas xx

User

I adopted Perry 2 weeks ago and after spending 5 hours under the cooker on Day 1 and then 5 hours under the bath on Day 2, he has grown in confidence and is the most loving cat. He gets cheekier every day and spends every evening snuggled up on my lap!

User

Adopted a little female ginger kitten (who I just adore) as my hand reared kitten was feeling quite lonely.

Mia (originally indie) has settled in lovely over the last week, she and Milo love to play and snuggle up together.

The last two days she's really come out of her shell and I'm getting lap cuddles and so much affection from her.

Staff were lovely and helpful, would go to cats protection again should I ever get another fur baby.
