Cats Protection: Cornwall Adoption Centre

Yesterday we adopted the gorgeous 5 month old Cober (was Spike). He started a little shy but has quickly become more confident, he is so playful, affectionate and very inquisitive. Thank You so much to Cats Protection Adoption Centre, especially Gareth for all your help and advice. The team are fantastic! We will keep you updated on Cobers adventures.

We recently adopted a kitten from Cats Protection Cornwall Adoption Centre. We have an elderly cat and we're advised of the special care needed in introducing them and ensuring they both get their necessary sleep. After following this very helpful and essential advice both cats have been found sleeping together within a few weeks. I feel at ease to contact the centre for any future advice. We adopted our sweet loving Sabrina a few days ago and she's settled into our home wonderfully! Cats protection made the process so quick and easy. So many other lovely cats needing a home too! Thank you cats protection!

We adopted Sophie on Saturday and the team could not have done more to ensure that she was the right cat for us and that we had all the information we needed. From my first enquiry, right through to taking her out to the car, they could not have done more. Everything is taken care of and is more than covered by the adoption fee. Thank you so much all of you, for your commitment to these lovely animals and for finding them forever homes.

Sophie has settled in so well and we are totally in love with her. No doubt who is boss in our house now!

We adopted Rory on Thursday, he has settled in really well and is so loving. He's eating and drinking well and is very nosy and cuddly. The staff go out of their way to help and are all so friendly. All the cats are so well cared for . Thank you everyone.

This is probably the only place I'd ever let any of my cats go to. Sadly I had to get rid of one of my cats (Luna). When they came to pick her up there was no hassle, I was given time to say goodbye and to fuss her. Very polite and are most defiantly amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone who needs to rehome their cat, Thankyou for taking her. Glad to know my kitty is happy.

The staff and volunteers are all so helpful and knowledgeable, and their care and concern for their charges shines through. The process of adoption is thorough and central to it are the needs of the cats - as it should be. The knowledge that the Adoption Centre is at the end of the phone during the first few weeks of settling in to deal with any concern, however minor, is totally reassuring.

Recently undergone a bit of misfortune,, had six cats,loving,trusting,beautiful cats,, got in touch with these wonderful people,n they had nothing but loyalty to me and my cats,,and they treated us with great care and affection,they took in all six cats,, the staff are just fantastic and so caring towards you,,and love their jobs,, I've recently been back in touch and my six cats are doing great,and one set has a home already,,that's fantastic news,these people are just amazing at what they do and I would recommend them to anyone,,thankyou all for helping me and my cats,xxxxxx

My first visit to cats protection in 12 years after recently losing the girl I adopted as a kitten in 2005. I was very impressed with the centre. Apparent that a lot of hard work and dedication goes into running this place. The adoption process was straightforward and informative. I've just adopted my very special boy, Howard. Even though he couldn't come straight home the guys let me visit as much as I wanted. Everyone was very informative and friendly. I would definitely adopt from you guys again! Although Howard is my number 1 boy so well have to wait a while! I'm amazed at how he settling in which must be a sign of all your hard work! I came with an open mind looking for a new cat after my old cat (Humbug, who came from this shelter 14 years ago) died. I found Casey and wasn't sure about having a long hair cat, but they gave me some tips and advice on what to do. I brought him home on 15th June and followed their advice. Everything is fine and he is settling in very well. Their system worked really well with all the checks done easily. He came chipped, vaccinated, wormed and had flea treatment, so the payment was great value as well.

Having had involvement with the running of cats rescues in the past I was highly impressed by the professionalism, care and compassion shown by the team at the Cornwall Adoption Centre when I went to visit with a friend. The set up of the centre is great and the knowledge the staff had of the individual cats in their care and their genuine desire to home each cat in the best forever home possible for each individual animal was evident from the outset. A fantastic rescue which I would highly recommend to all seeking a feline friend. They give excellent advice and support and really care about the animals and the homes they go to.

Found our perfect boy after waiting 10 years, he has completed our family and is totally adored. Thank you to all the staff for your care and advice keep up the great work you do �

Cats protection helped us find the perfect addition to our family. Thier patient and friendly service is fantastic and really gave us a comfortable environment to meet our new friend with gentle support from the staff. We left feeling fully informed and ready to welcome monty to his new home.

Brilliant place, all the cats are well cared for, the staff are so kind and friendly. the Adoption process was thorough. We adopted 'Simon' now called Sydney on the 31st August, he is absolutely gorgeous,he settled in straight away and love playing with our female cat, he goes out in our garden by himself now, he loves exploring and chasing flies, Love him to bits Thankyou so much x
