Cats Protection - Derby Adoption Centre

Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.

Derby Adoption Centre is the largest purpose built cat centre in this area and was opened in 1998, with 100 pens to house approximately 150 cats and kittens. Since then we have had the much needed addition of our Feral Facility and more recently an annex with 15 extra pens. We can now potentially have in residence up to 240 cats and kittens at any one time, unfortunately there are usually just as many waiting to come into us to find new homes.
