About Cats Protection Mitcham Homing Centre
Cat rehoming centre based in South London. If you're looking to adopt, please visit our website www. cats.org. uk /mitcham to find out more information.
Cats Protection Mitcham Homing Centre Description
We are a new Cats Protection homing centre based in South London, helping cats in need to find new, loving homes. Since opening in July 2015, we have homed over 750 cats and provided assistance to hundreds of cat owners to help ensure that every cat is treated with an understanding of its needs.
We work with a network of dedicated staff, volunteers and fosterer carers to provide the best possible care to our cats, and it's important to us that every cat in our care is treated as an individual and made to feel as comfortable as possible during their time with us.
When you give a home to a cat or kitten from us, you can be assured that it has been vet checked, neutered (if it is old enough), vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms. We also have a shop at the adoption centre where you can buy everything you need for your cat, and all the profits the shop makes go back to us so we can continue helping more cats in need of a new, loving home.
Do come and visit us in Mitcham, South London. We are happy for you to come in to the centre, take a look around and meet our cats and kittens, however at busy times please bear with us as we want everyone to have a great experience.
Please do not use our facebook page for urgent queries. To ensure we recieve your message as quickly as possible, please email us at mitcham@cats.org. uk or give us a call on 03000120285.

7m old pair Sage and Onion are looking for their forever home together. They're still adjusting to life with us and aren't the most forthcoming at the moment. They'd be ok to share their new home with other cats and older children but will need a family who are happy to let them settle in at their own pace. Could these cuties be the new best friends you've been looking for?
Looking for a new feline friend, or two? Look no further! We've had some new cats in and others get the all clear from the get this week so there are some new faces on our website...including some (older) kittens! π»

What do these cats and kittens have in common? πΎ πΎ They've all spent time out with fosters whilst waiting to get the all clear for rehoming from our vet. πΎ... πΎ We're currently recruiting for foster carers to look after our cats in their home and we are holding a drop in session to answer any questions on 16th February. πΎ πΎ If you've ever considered fostering and would like to find out more, or want the opportunity to discuss what the role entails why not pop along and chat with us over a cup of tea and some cake? πΎ πΎ We're running our drop in session from 1pm-2:30pm and there's no need to book, just turn up π» πΎ πΎ If you're unable to make the drop in session but would still like to know more about fostering, email your questions to Emma: mitcham.vtl@cats.org.uk. πΎ πΎ We ask that our fosterers live within a 5-mile radius of the centre due to our cats needing regular rechecks by the vet before going home and that if you are in rented accommodation that you have permission to keep a cat from your landlord π»
