International Pop Overthrow (or IPO, as it has affectionately become known) is a pop music festival which has been held for nearly 20 years in Los Angeles. Each IPO festival features between 25-180 of the best pop bands from around the world performing their own original pop tunes to an audience who will truly get their music.

Every Wednesday night in the Cavern Pub the Amazing Kappa Band entertain audiences with a fabulous blend of rock & roll, rockabilly, melodic ballads and more. Fronted by legendary Liverpool guitarist, Paul Kappa, you can expect to hear a variety of music from Led Zeppelin and Queen to Elvis and The Beatles. There's something for everyone! PLUS Kappa always makes sure to throw in a few original tunes for good measure.
Entry is FREE all night all night, every night!

Liverpool singer/songwriter, and front man with Amsterdam, hosts his weekly musicians open mic night get-together at the Cavern Pub.

What can I say great live music venue. Laid back, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Full of born n bread, second tribe of Liverpool our Irish cousins and our lovely tourist. For me it’s step back into a Scouse family party history. ���

We had a couple of drinks, and watched a fella on guitar on the stage doing covers, but his guitar playing was brill, and we really enjoyed it, I’d love to know who this guy is. He was on about 6-8 ish when we were there:)

Loads of atmosphere and I loved the Bon jovi display:)

Popped up from warwick for a few days ! And your boy jack ! Looked after me ! You’re lucky my bar is in warwick because I would head hunt him ! Look after him he’s a gem ! Shame there is no 6 star

Popped into see the Cavern pub as the night before we went to Cavern Club just to see the difference really ... barman was nice friendly and polite ...drink prices really reasonable compared to London ... nice venue & more cosy enjoyed our time there ...then went to Sgt Peppers ...would def recommend ..

Great staff, brilliant ‘new’ bar area (well, it’s about 6 months old as I write) and fabulous intimate venue. I have had so many wonderful days and nights here. A splendid time is guaranteed for all . . .

Great pub lots of memorabilia, nice atmosphere and good music 🎶

Great place for a good night of songs and drink s. Singer was called Tony Skeggs and he was brilliant. There was a mix of nationalities and it added to the atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, live music, decent priced drinks. Good to see all the memorabilia. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves music!

Excellent, enjoyed. Well worth a visit. Although it would be even better if they didn't charge an entry fee.

Excellent way to spend a rainy afternoon, great memorabilia and lots of soul.

Band was amazing...watch lots of live music in Australia and these guys were fantastic...never stopped playing and their set list was excellent...Led Zepplin obviously a big influence!!

First visit to Liverpool and popped in here for a drink on our last night. Friendly staff, clean, and plenty of memorabillia to see... only downside was the live act wasn't starting till 9.30pm... bit later than all the other pubs / clubs nearby.
