At C& E Livery we provide a professional full livery service; our aim is to ensure that you achieve your aspirations with your horse, from an amenable and enjoyable atmosphere.
C&E Livery At Vine Cottage Stables Description
Our purpose built equestrian centre is situated in idyllic countryside near Clevedon, Bristol. We are easily accessible from M5 and M4 and commutable from central Bristol and surrounding areas. We have excellent travel links to training and competition venues throughout the South West. We are a friendly yard and welcome horse owners of all abilities from the novice rider to the competition rider.
Facilities:
• Floodlit, horse shoe shaped wooden stable blocks x2, accommodating 17 horses
• Light and airy stables with full rubber matting
• Flat and secure turn out, post and rail with electric fencing
• Wash box with hot water
• Roofed Monarch horse walker
• Sand mix outdoor arena for lunging and schooling
• Fully floodlit indoor arena approximately 20m by 40m with a viewing gallery
• Full set of Jump for Joy show jumps
• Circular 3 furlong surfaced canter track
• Dressage arena on grass when weather permits
• Trailer parking
• Secure tack room
• Tea and coffee making facilities
All of our packages include a straw bed, a standard feed and adlib, good quality hay or haylage. Full day to day care and management of your horse is provided, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Services available include:
• Full livery - day to day care and management of your horse.
• Exercise livery - full livery, plus one lunge and two exercise hacks per week. Great for the busy working owner.
• Schooling livery - full livery, plus three flat schooling sessions per week. Perfect for young horses needing to further their education or training support for the more mature horse.
• Competition Livery - full livery, plus three flat schooling sessions per week and two lessons with Nicola. Lessons are non transferable week to week. Tack cleaning and competition preparation (plaiting, bathing) also included.
• Rehabilitation livery - full livery, plus full daily execution of your rehab plan in conjunction with your vet.

Nicola Barnes – Yard Proprietor
Nicola has ridden all her life and has competed in eventing to International Advanced level. With her in-depth knowledge and sympathetic approach, she coaches horses and riders of all abilities, developing harmonious and successful partnerships.
The confidence she gives will add much enjoyment to your chosen discipline – from hacking to eventing, jumping, dressage and groundwork.
With a wealth of knowledge and a life times experience, we offer a personal and friendly service, sympathetic to both horses and owners needs. We take an intuitive and sensitive approach to horse and owner care.
We offer competition training, preparation and goal setting for all ages and abilities, as well as helping with problem solving, rehabilitation and confidence issues.

Professional team able to support at all levels, Current liveries range from newbies to competitors.
We are now able to offer 3 types of livery:
DIY livery: This includes straw, haylage and use of all facilities.
Part livery: This includes turnout and bring in with rug changes, field mucked out, basic feed, haylage and straw and use of all facilities.
Full livery: This includes turn out, bring in, horses are put on the walker, stables are mucked out, feet are picked out and rugs are changed according to the weather conditions. Straw, haylage and use of all facilities, horses will also be bought in for farrier visits, vets, freelance riders etc. We can ensure that we will provide the best care for your horse 24/7.

With two large operations in December I missed Ivy’s Birthday and giving her Christmas pressies! With ponies coming and some going, Betty our Section A, 4 year old,needed a new friend and some one on one attention. Happy Birthday/Christmas Ivy love all of us xx Today Ivy got to meet her new pony - more happy smiles xx
Since Evie’s operation she has grown 5 inches! Poor Gigs is just too small and we’d never sell him so fingers crossed he’s off on loan next weekend. The person having him is letting us loan their beautiful 14.2 mare Flora. Then when my friend showed me a picture of Jezz we couldn’t say no! We welcome Jezz next weekend as well. Max is off on sales livery to find a 5* event home! Xx Lovely to see Evie so excited x
We are looking for a 14.2 pony on LWVTB. We are looking for a pony able to compete 90+ with a proven recent track record. My daughter has had a major spine operation so nothing green or with a stop, LWVTB is a MUST due to this. My daughter is a competent rider and we want a pony that is competitive and forward. Needs to be suitable for BS and BE.
We were sad to see Dobby go last week, but we are super excited to see how she gets on in her new Showing Home in Holland. Fingers crossed she will become an international superstar x
My lovely Head Groom is looking for a 16.2+ Loan or LWVTB up to £1,500. The horse will be kept at Vine Cottage in Clevedon (J20 M5). She is looking for a horse that has been there and done it. Something that’s an all rounder and wants to get out. She wants something she can compete at places like Cricklands/Badgworth/Summer House/West Wilts etc. Something she can enjoy rather than have to train from scratch, we have enough of those at the yard. Would love to hear from you.
