We held our wedding party at Celebrations bar, having got married in Mexico. Emma, Amy and the team were fantastic - really helpful and put up with all my annoying last minute questions! I would recommend this bar to anyone for their party, all of our guests also commented on what a great venue it is.

We had my husbands 65th birthday party at Celebrations. It is a wonderful venue. Extremely clean and smart and the children (and adults) loved the outdoor seating area. The bar staff and other staff members were so friendly and helpful and we had an absolutely brilliant night. I would recommend this venue to anyone for any function they may want cater for. Excellent!

We had a christening there today and from start to finish Emma and her team were fantastic. They opened up early for us and arranged everything just as we wished. Nothing was too much trouble. We overstayed our welcome in the end as we had such a great time. Will definitely be hiring for future events!

I held my 30th Birthday Party at Celebrations. I was throughly impressed with Amy and her team, they did so much to accommodate exactly what I wanted (I was extremely unorganised but that didn’t seem to phase them!). The night was so much fun and better than I expected. Everyone commented on how lovely the venue was; being an old pub it had a great feel to it. The staff were lovely and friendly too. I’d highly recommend this venue, i wish I had more events to host as I’d definitely use Celebrations again.

Emma was so professional and helpful with every detail. I could not have asked for more. Even with my husband deciding he was going to be on the red wine, instead of his normal bourbon, they went out and purchased his favourite wine for me.

Had my daughter's baby shower on Sunday such a laid back atmosphere. The staff are very helpful with decorations and accommodating with your wishes beautiful garden which was lovely with gazebo really had a great day thanks Amy and your staff everyone who came said how lovely the place was.

Well I'd like to leave a review to say how great my party was but unfortunately I've been completely let down. I was promised that the date would be held until I paid my deposit (Amy didn't have the paperwork on her when I went to view it), messaged this morning to check that all was still ok for this evening, to be told that someone else had in fact booked my date and put their deposit down!! I'd asked three times for the date to be held as I said I definitely wanted it, but apparently it's a business and 'first come first served'. So unfair and unprofessional, no loyalties at all.

Sadly I am another customer who has been let down by this venue as a result of ‘double booking.’



I had been in conversation with them for a few days about fine details of a children’s party (even down to the price of a jug of squash cordial ....£3 if you’re interested) and received the news that someone else had booked. I wasn’t going to leave a bad review for this, these things happen sometimes.



The thing that is most disappointing, and why I’m writing this, is that it took them from Friday (the day the other booking was apparently taken) to Monday to let me know. After a phonecall on Monday they said they might be able to rearrange the other booking, but even after I sent two messages asking for updates, it took until yesterday (5 days!) for them to confirm that they couldn’t.



Looking through the other reviews, this seems relatively common. Perhaps a better booking and communication system needs to be implemented.
