"I never thought that changing out the stock speaker in my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe would make such a difference in my tone. I've spent a lot of money on my pedal board but could never quite dial out the unpleasant harshness and mid-range bump that I was hearing. The A-Type does this perfectly for my needs. My Mad Professor overdrive pedal now sounds divinely smoother with more head room and great note articulation. Lik...e some others, my primary tone is an edge of breakup rhythm tone that just doesn't sound that good if you are using a speaker designed to overly emphasize mid-range frequencies. The A-Type tames these mid-frequencies while still allowing your tone to cut through the mix. Highly satisfied with this product."
