We are delighted to announce a new date for ‘Joie de Vivre’!

Join us for a night of French songs and Jazz with Joie de Vivre, a French retro and Jazz band. You will be transported back to the Paris of yesteryear for an evening of superb musical entertainment. Featuring talented French singer, Muriele who will sing the great classics from the French songbook. This is music to romance to; music to dance to. Get caught up in the glorious retro sound of the "hot club era" of Paris.

Looking for a way to warm up, get cosy and enjoy an evening in great company? Look no further! Our Cellar Raclette is the answer... candlelight, melting cheese and delicious wine. You have until tomorrow lunchtime to grab some of the seats remaining. Get them quick!

This lovely little bar has changed the face of Woking! It's my most favourite place to go - so much so that my husband and I hired the entire bar to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary a few years ago. I can't recommend it more highly. Jo, Thierry and their fab team never fail to treat you like you're the only customer there - despite the fact it's so popular. Love it!!

Superb hidden treasure amongst the vast mass of chain bars and food outlets in Woking's city centre. Knowledgable staff with an in house sommelier and a cheese trolley to die for! Oh did I mention the amazing wine selection including organic/biodynamic wines from the EU. I will defo be back, live your concept guys, well done 😀🍾

Love the place. Was in the UK last Christmas and my introduction to this little gem was Christmas Eve. Turned out to be an evening I will never forget. Fantastic service, food and wine and not to mention the other customers there that evening also having the time of their lives. Keep up the good work guys. You have an amazing place!

I recently held a surprise 40th Birthday Party at Cellar Magneval. It proved to be an excellent choice. Being from overseas I visited once in advance and immediately knew it was going to be good. There was a lovely atmosphere and pretty setting. The management and team were terrific and very responsive. The wine choice was fantastic, as well as craft beers, spirits and of course wonderful cheese and meats. It all added up to a memorable evening of celebrations. It’s a little gem in Woking.

I loved the friendly atmosphere and made friends with some interesting young people which goes to show that it is a place where age doesn't matter and generations can meet and mingle. Great choice of excellent wines to choose from. Staff also a bonus. Thank you to the owners and staff for a fun experience. Great find for an Ozzie in Woking!!! �������

Had a lovely afternoon with friends today. We enjoyed champagne afternoon tea for a friend's birthday treat. Great food selection; loved the open sandwiches, and the rose champers was lush, we all indulged in a 2nd glass ;-)

I have to admit I did miss the scones though!

For me Cellar Magneval has to be the best bar in Woking. Always love coming here for a relaxed few drinks after work. Great atmosphere and always full of great characters to chat with. Obviously they have some fantastic wines to choose from but I can recommend the 'Saison' beer, which is brewed locally in Horsell. Great to have this type of place in Woking! Can't recommend highly enough!

Couldn't rave enough about this lovely little wine bar. We have been going regularly for over 2 years and have never had anything less then an amazing time! I was not a wine fan till up to a couple of years ago, the friendly staff have always recommended wines to my palate and taste and over the years I have entrusted lovey Ben (the manager) to pass me a glass, and he gets it right every time!



We have brought friends and family to experience our little haven, and every single one has returned!

Cellar is a lovely, intimate, family-run business that always puts itself out there to make everyone feel welcome. The wines are individually sourced and all excellent, and are well-priced for the quality. Jo and Thierry make wonderful hosts. All the bar staff (India, Anna and friends) are knowledgeable about the wines and can recommend a wine that fits your requirements. I recently went to a French Jazz evening which was very well attended, and everyone had a fantastic time. Come down and experience a slice of French 'june se qua' in Woking.

They have bought a touch of class to Woking and I take everyone I know there when they visit from UK and overseas. Not that I ever need an excuse to visit!! Cellar Magneval is without question my favourite bar - you know how you watched 'Cheers' a few years ago (if you're as old as me), and you always wished you too could have a bar where 'everyone knows your name' - well that's Cellar - it's like being in a friend's house -but in Paris - chic, friendly, uber-cool with top quality wines and amazing food (the Mont D'or cheese is to die for!). Cellar Magneval is by far my favourite go to place. The staff always make you feel welcome, the wine selection is fabulous, and the atmosphere is friendly and sociable. If you haven't visited this place yet, you are missing out!!

Cellar Magneval is a fantastic place in the heart of Woking. The owners and the staffs are both really nice, know everything about wines and they have an exceptionally good cheese selection. If you like wine, small cosy places, friendly atmosphere, Cellar Magneval will be your place! ;)

Brilliant atmosphere. Great choice of wine and the cheese and charcuterie platter was just perfect. Lovely staff, especially Christophe. Just great to go somewhere that isn't a chain.

Amazing atmosphere, attentatuve staff but not in your face who are extremely knowledgeable about the products the sell, food was the best. All in all cant wait to go back wish it was my local i would never be away
