We were staying a few miles away from Yarm for a couple of nights and decided to try this place. The food here is simply amazing, and reasonably priced too. The staff were also fantastic and extremely helpful. The atmosphere here is spot on, perfectly suited to a romantic meal for two as well as groups and families. We liked it so much we returned the following evening so we could try Cena’s take on Bread and butter pudding, which was well worth returning for.

We had our daughters baby shower here on Sunday the food was amazing don't know we're to start on the service it was unbelievable they went above and beyond to our every need thank you so much what a beautiful room too ���

Thank you, Cena, for relocating our party downstairs so we could enjoy our evening away from an incredibly noisy group upstairs. It turned out to be a lovely evening with great good and a lovely atmosphere. Many thanks.

Really enjoyed the food at a family celebration, everyone loved their choices. Will look forward to coming again.

Popped in for a family lunch yesterday, everything was perfect, food to an exceptional standard, service and atmosphere both great too. The gluten free menu went down a treat with our celiac guest, thanks so much!

One of my favourite restaurants in teesside, actually my favourite! As a coeliac sometimes I can feel very limited on places to eat and when I do find somewhere the options I have are pretty small! Cena has an amaaazing gluten free menu with so much choice. Great service and delicious food :)

Lovely atmosphere, very efficient and polite staff, and an excellent vegan menu. The pizza was the highlight of my evening, which is saying something given that I was to play Berlioz "Symphonie Fantastique" that evening too!!

Just visited Cena which was so easy to book a table online, really busy for a Sunday night which was a good sign. The food and wine definitely did not disappoint and great service too. I think I might have found a new favourite Italian! Would recommend a visit.

I haven’t been here since it first opened because I am rather partial to Muse but having returned today and thoroughly enjoyed my meal I will definitely be back again very soon. Food was amazing!

Gluten free menu was amazing! They even make fresh pizza bases. I shared the prawn and squid starter and the gf chicken and chorizo pizza. It was excellent! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend it.

Food was exceptional, service was friendly and efficient. You can tell these guys really care about their end product from a customers perspective. My only gripe is that the tables are a bit too close together, but thats what happens in good italian restaurants if you want the ability to get a table.

First visit and it won't be the last, food was delicious and the service was brilliant even though the restaurant was extremely busy.

Can’t recommend this place enough they aim to please and nothing is too much trouble. We had a great meal and they altered the dishes slightly for us and the food was lovely can’t wait to go again.

Best restaurant in Yarm! Lovely chilled, yet professional atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff who know tons about the menu and wine list. Food is a taste sensation. The big king prawns are the best I've tasted and the pizzas are really authentic Italian and delicious. Would highly recommend this place! �

As patrons of Muse, we were keen to see how their sister restaurant would compare.....no worries on that score!! Attentive staff, fantastic vibe and buzz about the place and even more amazing, the food. Crab cannelloni....it’s the future �. Well worth a visit �

We’ve been before as a couple and thought the food and service was amazing, as such we thought we would book a celebration meal at Cena for 12 people 3 weeks in advance. Unfortunately we were told that the restaurant doesn’t take bookings of 12 on a Saturday night, but could accommodate us another night. Strangely, they said we could book two tables of 6, but not a table of 12 �



Really disappointed that no effort to accommodate us was made. I even suggested we be given a set menu to reduce burden on the kitchen, which was apparently the challenge in the first place, but Cena still wasn’t willing to have us. A bit of a shame really!

Place was great, food was great and staff were great. Walked in off the street at 4.50 after seeing the 2 or 3 course offer Monday -Sat until 5.30. Found us a table short notice which was also great.



Ordered 2 courses each from the menu we were given which has 2 courses for £11.95 or 3 courses for £13.95 at the top of it.



Few beers and a couple of glasses of prosecco and got the bill as we were advised the table was needed for a booking. This was no issue as they had pre warned us before we sat down.



The bill came to £68 which I thought was a lot as the the 2 courses for 2 people should have only been £24 and the drinks shouldn't have been over £40.



Looked at the itemised bill and the Items we had were all charged full price. Maybe this is because it's bank holiday weekend? I'm not sure. This is very misleading when all signs say the offer, with a board outside and menu you are given says the same.

Food is good but I ordered a cocktail from the menu. Mum got hers and mine came about 20 minutes after. I noticed the waitress on her phone rather than serving. I asked to be served and she told me that the drink I ordered was on the old menu and the cocktail maker didn't know how to make it which I thought was very strange! The attitude of the waitress afterwards was awful!!
