Central MA Choreography student Jenna Lee has created a new ballet 'Puss in Boots' for Northern Ballet.
Jenna has been working on this original ballet for several months as part of her MA Choreography degree at Central.
Several of the company members are Central alumni and include 2018 graduates Ayca Anil and Harris Beattie, 2017 graduate Matthew Morrell and 2015 graduate Julie Nunes, all pictured here in the stunning images by Drew Forsyth Photography
... The show opens in Leeds at the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre tomorrow evening, before going on a nationwide tour in 2019!

Today we introduce #BalletCentral2019 dancer Rebecca Stead from Lancashire who says "I am eager to see how I will develop as an artist and as a person through the many unique opportunities and experiences I will participate in as a member of Ballet Central." #futureofdance

Central’s half-term activities continued today with a ballet and crafts course for children aged 4-7 years.
The course was led by Junior School ballet tutor Anna Zammit- Lupi. The course included a ballet class, a repertoire class based on ‘Room On The Broom’, with a pianist and an arts and crafts session where they made witches hats! 🎃🧟‍♀️🧙‍♀️🦇🕸
Central will be running more courses like this in February! Keep an eye on Central’s social media and website for announcements on course details and dates!

Earlier this week Central held a Dance Day at Dance East in Ipswich!
Dance Days are an opportunity for dancers ages 12-16 years to learn more about life in full-time dance training.
The days include a ballet and contemporary class led by tutors from Central’s BA Hons Degree programme in Professional Dance and Performance.
