"Despite recent setbacks, Seoul remains optimistic about the peace process because the negotiation track is still open, and Pyongyang and Washington can be brought back to the table. Both sides should sustain their hard-won dialogue and build on the momentum toward reconciliation, making every effort to prevent the negotiations from derailing. Destroying the negotiation track is easy, but restoring it is damn hard." via Foreign Affairs

CISD student Anna Rosenberg Navarro reflects on the recent study tour to the #UnitedNations in Geneva.
"Our different academic and geographical backgrounds provide a rich patchwork of identities that question our beliefs and make us learn from each other every day. Be it by basking in the highly unusual February sunshine near the Lac Léman, sharing a 12-hour train journey or singing our hearts out at karaoke in the company of high-ranking diplomats, we became closer as a group and formed a deep connection that will be with us in the years to come."
