Masters in Research, PhD and Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship Awards University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Nurse and Allied Health Professional Research Fellowships for Staff Intending to Apply for Masters in Research, PhD and Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship Awards University College London NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) invites applications for clinical research fellowships from Nurses and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHP) at UCLH who are intending to ap...ply for funded Masters in Research, PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellowship Awards. The fellowships will provide part-time salary support (0.4WTE) and a consumable allowance for 6-12 months to provide the time to develop a competitive application for a masters in research, doctoral or post-doctoral research fellowship, for submission to the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Integrated Clinical Academic Programme for non-medical healthcare professions or equivalent charity or research council. The scheme will also provide you with research supervision, mentorship and peer support. It is expected that successful candidates for 2017 will apply for nationally competitive research fellowships in 2018. The 5th UCLH Research in Clinical Practice conference will be held on 21st February 2017 in the Education Centre, 250 Euston Road, with further details to follow. In conjunction with the conference we invite abstracts for either oral presentation or posters from nurses, midwives and allied health professionals from UCL and UCLH. Our AMD Kay Mitchell recently ran the London Marathon to support the CNMR Fund. She did it in a fantastic 5hrs 27 mins!
Thank you to everyone who donated before the race, this money will go towards building much need pilot funding for our nurses and midwives to undertake research studies, with a view that this data can be used to support large grant applications to external bodies such as the NIHR.
