About Centre For Remanufacturing & Reuse (Crr)

The Centre for Remanufacturing and Reuse (CRR) is an independent organisation specialising in advice and promotion of remanufacturing, reuse and reconditioning. We work with businesses and governmental organisations on a range of different projects from market studies to carbon footprint analysis. The CRR is internationally renowned for its work in promoting, encouraging and consulting in remanufacturing and reuse. Its experts in sustainability have access to an unrivalled amount of detailed research built up over 10 years. We have both commercial and government clients, and have a unique perspective on the trends affecting the industry. Our work covers all reuse activities including refurbishing, reconditioning remanufacturing and straight reuse. The CRR was formed to promote the remanufacturing and reuse industry in the UK and continues to lead the way in efforts to encourage remanufacturing in Europe. Core to our work is to ensure that these activities are promoted where there is the appropriate environmental and economic evidence – we do not believe in reuse for reuse's sake. We provide work on a commercial consultancy basis, for both private and public sector clients, but we also offer free services – such as news and events – to stimulate greater awareness.
