Centre Of European Law

The primary objective of our activities is to stimulate European law research and to disseminate information about European law. We also offer five blended learning Pg. Dip /MA programmes and run many events in European Law and EU Competition Law. Within the the Dickson Poon School of Law the Centre organises and contributes to many student activities related to European Law such as sponsorship of Moot Competitions, trips to the European Court of Justice, funding up to 2 Phd studentships in EU Law and running a short summer course in Advanced European Law. Academics within Centre of European Law are experts in their field and are often called upon to give expert evidence to government committees as well as commentary to the media. The Centre also participates in relevant research projects often in partnership with other universities and institutions.
