The CERA Global Association (CGA) is dedicated to promoting and administering the CERA credential worldwide. The functioning of the CGA is governed by a Treaty with signatories from actuarial professional bodies around the globe that are full members of the IAA. OUR VISIONTo ensure that the CERA credential is regarded as the most rigorous and comprehensive enterprise risk management credential available to meet the global needs in risk management. OUR MISSIONThrough the combined efforts of the CGA and its worldwide Treaty Member Associations we will seek to enhance the brand of the CERA credential and promote ERM as an attractive field for actuaries and the actuarial profession as a source of competent ERM practitioners and sound ERM advice. The CGA accredits actuarial associations to award the CERA designation to individuals on its behalf. It does not make individual awards.
