I was going to buy a 18+ game but they said I'm not allowed 😤 i dont know why because last time I bought a 18+ game they allowed me but this time they didn't!
From now on I'm never ever going there ever again!!!!!! 😡

Every time I buy DVDs from Cex they are scratched and when I take them back they tell me they will put in their "cleaning machine" which does nothing. They won't just change it. They are quick to take money but if you have an issue they are funny with u about it. Even if u go to sell something to them, they make up problems that don't exist with the item so they don't have to give u much for it

Terrible. They conveniently only honour their warranty if found to be faulty by an ‘in store test’. Which happens to not find faults very often..

They put the wrong price on metal gear solid (the new one) and when I saw this and went to buy it they asked me for ID when I’m 29 and clearly look over 18, I think they just saw the wrong price and wanted to snatch it up themselves

They take in not only new consoles, computers and games, but older items as well. They have a fantastic range of interesting items if you like computers, gaming or films. A brilliant chain that serves a very useful purpose.

Great place to pick up a bargain, friendly and helpful staff

90% they will have what you want for your games but the exchange policy is not the best

Employees don't seem too excited. Another CeX store where people look like falling asleep.

They don't let you buy 18+ games if your not over it and 18+ games are games that everyone plays even 10 year olds and I bet they dont even know that (they are dumb)

Still the best place to trade your unwanted tech and software. Great knowledgeable staff who are always helpful. If they aren't then you haven't spoken to then propely. I find them very helpful in understanding your needs and helping you make the right choices especially on gaming and consoles in my experience.
Can be busy at times but they have upto 5 people serving at any one time to alleviate the queues. You get 5 stars from me!
