Chalkdust Magazine

Chalkdust is a magazine devoted to the celebration and promotion of mathematics. Founded in 2015 by a group of UCL students, it is published biannually and distributed to mathematics departments and schools across the UK. Each issue contains several articles on topics ranging from pure mathematics to statistics, history of mathematics to physics, as well as an interview with a prominent figure in mathematics, and a range of entertainment-focused features. There is also a weekly blog available on the Chalkdust website. Readers include maths students at universities across the UK, professional mathematicians and science communicators, and school students and their teachers. Free to read both online and in print, Chalkdust is funded entirely by sponsorship, and offers a unique opportunity for advertisers to reach a wide, mathematically literate, audience. We offer our sponsors advertising space in the magazine, as well as promotion on social media and access to our social events.
