Wow!! Not only does this shop have a fantastic range of fancy dress clothes and accessories, very helpful, friendly and very patient staff there is now an amazing Santa's grotto. Took my twin boys and grandchildren to see Santa, the grotto looked great and nothing was too much trouble for Santa even letting them sit on his hearth for a picture :) I also left with a reindeer dress for myself :) perfect for Christmas day and cheaper than any high street store. Highly recomend x shop local x

Wow! I took my son to see SANTA!! Amazing decor and a fantastic Santa. Santa had patient of a saint! My son was weary and unsure at firsts but really enjoyed it!

Lots of room for pushchairs at the bottom of stairs too!

The lady kindly took photos on my behalf so i could have a photo with my son! Big thank you!

Wow what a lovely shop and Janet is just amazing, we went there earlier to find it has closed, Janet opened back up, showed us around, let us try on outfits, gave each of our kids a toy and kept our big 2 children occupied while we tried stuff on, what an absolutely lovely person, Janet also gave my oldest daughter some free face paint, we then also recieved 10% off, we really appreciate all you did for us Janet, and seeing as our fancy dress party is tomorrow you really saved the day, I would highly recommend this lady and her business, lovely place and an outstanding lady, nothing was too much for her so Thankyou from us all, we will deffinately be coming back xx

Went in on Friday and needed a child’s ‘Hawaiian’ themed outfit for the Sunday. Although there was nothing as such, the lady who served me was so helpful and gave ideas and was able to get some bits together for me so i could make something at home. My daughters outfit was fab. Thank you so much. Will use again. Fab local business

Was stuck for a last minute fancy dress outfit so messages Chameleons. They immediately answered all of my (many!) questions and checked on stock for me etc. Came up with an idea better than my original one.

Santa's grotto was beautiful today went with my little boy (8months) godson (2) and cousin (1) and it was perfect!! Great gifts for under 1s as there different to the over 1s alot of thought has gone into it and I can't recommend it enough ��

Needed an item as an emergency and even though the shop was closed they actually came to the shop on their day off just to help me out and solve my emergency.

Just let that sink in...... they came to open up just for me on their day off.....

Highly recommend the Chameleons Fancy Dress was desperately in need of a coustume for my sons school nursery rhyme day tomorrow, which the shop isnt open till Thursday but the lovely women went out her way to open the shop so he could have one for tomorrow not only did she open shop for us she offered to take us down to, thankyou so much that's mean alot you are a lifesaver �

Chameleons fancy dress shop is wonderful, Janet was brilliant, even asked if I wanted a cuppa tea..... How great it that. They have so much to choose from.

I have been looking for a Peggy (Hi de hi) costume for months and Janet came to the rescue. � I would recommend them to everyone.

After been let down with sizing and false descriptions from other websites and shops! I frantically searched fancy dress shops in our area as we needed our outfits for the next day. At 10am I called a couple of shops that just said "no we don't have what you want!". I called chameleon fancy dress shop and spoke to a lovely very helpful lady called Janet. I explained what we wanted. She didn't have what we wanted in stock but asked me to call back in an hour, which I did and to my relief/surprise Janet had managed to get in touch with her supplier and had arranged to collect them that day!!

I asked Janet if she would mind meeting me out of working hours to collect them so we would have them for the following morning. Janet agreed. What a lovely, lovely, helpful lady who saved our day.

I know where I'm going next time I need a fancy dress �
