Champneys Springs

Decent place to spend a weekend. Pretty good if you want to exercise with decent gym and classes. Food is good and healthy. Could do with a re-vamp decor wise and check out a bit disorganised.

Spent an evening with my wife using the spa and restaurant. Found gym and pool modern and clean. However three course meal in restaurant was disappointing. Menu outside restaurant door showed extensive choice for veg and non veggies. However, once inside the table menu showed that many of the dishes attracted additional charges on top of what we had already paid. For example choice of steaks, black peppercorn sauce, vegetable side dishes (which I thought would be standard with a meal) and cheese board had extra charges ranging from £2.50 to £8.00 each.. Oddly, only wine sold (expensive) and no beer or spirits. We found food bland and portions were small. We came away still hungry. Shall not be returning

Have stayed twice while on business in the area. Unfortunately this time my train was delayed so arrived too late to take advantage of the pool and other facilities. However did have time for the very best filter stake I have ever had. So tender, cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth delicious.

Had a brilliant birthday weekend spent here, really relaxing and chilled out atmosphere and great spots to lounge around.
The pool are is very clean and changing rooms are well kept, assistants are ready to help with clean towels and whatever you need.
The grounds are nice and peaceful and get for an afternoon stroll after lunch.
We had breakfast lunch and dinner included which was very very nice and well prepared, all I would say is at breakfast remember there is a menu to order cooked food rather than the continental buffet.
All in all its a great place to get away and relax honestly feel like your in the middle of know where.

Had a delightful weekend, but cannot consider this place a spa. When we first arrived we went into the tiny jacuzzi (which would only fit 10-12 people in) and there was a pool fitness exercise class to the left of us. Not exactly what I wanted when I booked a 'spa weekend'. All the treatments however were fantastic, I'd go there again purely for a massage. The food was also fantastic, good selection and very tasty (if not a bit too healthy for me!) The reception and booking out process could be improved so much more. It was slow and there was always problems with booking out. Some improvements to be made.

Utterly amazing service and facilities but the building could do with a tidy up

Great for leisure but not for business. Late breakfast start and no bar for a relaxing pint.

Been here several times.. Very overrated.. On our recent visit..two showers were out if order as was the steam room.. Had to ask for towels....in a previous visit we complained as a man in the pool was very rude to us and i was in tears.. Other people said he was a regular who was often rude to people. Not springs fault I know but when I complained about this I was told... They are aware of him he's a corporate member... And it's corporate members who bring the money him. Was told they would try and sort it out and get back to me . They never did... Needless to say won't be going again and another 3 friends have just cancelled

Went for a day spa. Was fun day out. I had the amoratherapy wrap and really enjoyed the outdoor hike. Thee thalassotherapy pool was awesome . Lunch was good am a vegetarian so lots of choices.
