It's a lovely friendly restaurant food buffet is of good choice plenty of choice good quality and very tasty. Staff are very friendly. And it's good value for what's available. Highly recommended if you've not eaten Thai some dishes can be spiced others are not,ask the staff if unsure they will advise and being a buffet just try small amounts see how you like it then grab more.
Fast service and excellent food with great staff
Went for lunch at Trafford centre yesterday and lots of choice, fresh and hot. Service was good and even had healthier options as chicken, seafood and veg dishes. Had a soup for starter and fruit with ice cream for dessert.
We ate here a few months ago and really enjoyed it especially the variety of food available (eating with 2 young children)we all ate well , however eating there again lastnight there was only a pork or veg option as well as a very spicy chicken available, I doubt we would return again. I also felt the staff were very stern faced and abrupt whilst serving us.
It was my first time here. I went with my wife and family. I found it very nice, food was good and had a nice selection to choose from. My only complaint was that being busy we had to wait for plates
I was looking forward to visiting today after a great first experience,
Again today the food was lovely as I expected but I was let down and quite annoyed by the service.
I went to the first station to get soup, with my friend who I sat with, I waited for my friend to have a beef soup. When I asked for my chicken one, the lady refused to serve me, shooed me to the back of the line with her hand and preceded to serve the young lady next to me.
I’ve never experienced anything so rude I was so gobsmacked I went back to my table and told my companion. Such a shame as I loved each the food but it ruined my visit and I think it is unacceptable to be treated this way as if I had pushed in the line.
Very poor and unprofessional, if not for the food I’d give one star.
Food is fabulous but t we were diddled with our drinks. 2x Rekordelig 500ml £4.55 rach came in 2 pint glasses not full to the top with loads of ice and no accompanying bottle for top up. Reckon we could have taken out ice and would not have a pint between us!!😡😡
First visit, Glorified Chinese food really, not a lot of choice, no ice cream available (even though there was an ice cream freezer) - won't go again.
2nd visits my 1st visit was good but this one not so good. Main reason was the lack of variation for main meals. There were about 6 but 4 or 5 were chicken. The other problem was the amount of hot spice in most dishes. I had soup (hot) spicy salad (hot) beef in black bean (so hot I couldn't finish it). Don't get me wrong I like Indian food so spice is not an issue but this is Chinese and I'm sorry but it shouldn't be all like that!
Good service very attentive and plates cleaned whilst away getting next course.
Ok people here is the sting that caused me to rate it so badly. I like the food, it is a get what you pay for type of place but what is utterly appalling is that this place will shut 9pm if it feels “it’s not worth staying open” this place advertises open till 10pm but it doesn’t if you get a day they just want to go home early. Second time I’ve been and walked away because of being told we close in ten minutes. It’s just atrocious service when the Chinese will stay open irrespective of how many customers are dining. Won’t go back, pathetic running of a business.
I was really excited to eat here however we were utterly disappointed. The beef was inedible, poor choice, questionable pork and both my partner and I had dodgy stomachs through the night. We were also disgusted to see fresh food was placed on top of the old food instead of removing it so god knows how long that had been sat there for.
Would definitely not eat here again unfortunately.
Been there previously and thought it was fine. This time it was distinctly average. Chicken dishes with hardly any chicken, pork dishes with minced pork, or at least that's how it was described. Rice congealed and the noodles dried up and set. The main dishes were sparse and weren't filled up during the time we were eating. All in all a pretty average eating experience, won't be rushing there again.
We went for supper at Chaobaby in the Trafford Centre in Manchester on Saturday the 3rd February 2018 and were so dissapointed with not only the food but the poor customer service.
We had travelled to Manchester as previously had been to this restaurant and had always had good meals. So for my husband's birthday and an early anniversary meal we decided to go back. What a HUGE mistake which we won't be making again.
1. Dirty tables all over yet people queing for tables.
2. Staff not very observant or bothered with clients.
3. Poor/pathetic selection of food. Salad bar was empty and no one seemed bothered to fill it.
4. Buffett area messy and no one to clean it up.
5. Veggie meals all sauce and hardly any vegetables.
6. Dirty plates left on the table even after we had finished our main meal. Even after we had desert the same dirty dinner plates just left lying on the table.
7. Charged £2.50 for a bottle of tap water!
8. Restaurant dirty.
9. No clean plates on buffet.
Really very dissapointed and left feeling deflated as had been looking forward to this night out.
We have eaten previously here and enjoyed it ,however we arrived at 9.15pm and was told they shut at 10 on the way in , that would be fine if they told you they don’t top up the buffet and start to clean up and close from that time , also it’s not good paying for a small selection of left over food and watch the Trafford centre staff come in and take free takeaway food from the buffet before you finish your meal , word of advice don’t go in this restaurant after 9pm even though they’re not supposed to close until 10
We have been going here almost every weekend for the past 3 years. The food used to very good but recently so so bad. We went again today and most of the food was so salty, the noodle was bland, taste just like cup noodles
Service was rubbish waited ages for first drink order,no plates ready so had to use dessert plates, food was average asked for water as the drinks took too long and still didn't get it before we left the girl carried on cleaning a table!!!!then had to wait for bill stood at the till needless to say won't be going again.
Rude ignorant staff with no manners. Food wasn’t hot. Not much variety. Lovely to pay your bill and not get a please or thank you. Avoid.
Lunchtime Buffet was very poor with limited selection and food was not warm, the chicken was spongy in texture, the desert was the best bit, very disappointing, wouldn’t go again
I asked which dishes were the mildest but cooking staff said none were that spicy ... wrong !! ..I like some spicy but was too spicy to enjoy.
My husband found part of a blue kitchen roll in his food. The waiter was told and had I not called him back to see what was happening about it I feel he would not have done anything. He was not forthcoming with an explanation or solution.
Staff however pleasant and plates cleared away swiftly.
