went with 3 friends for my birthday, the food was amazing, tasty, well presented, service friendly, cocktails were a bit pricy but tasted fab.. will def go back

Went out for my birthday in Manchester - had been recommended this restaurant.... and was NOT disappointed :) food was AMAZING staff were also very nice ... always happy to help .... will definitely be having another meal here ... and will recommend it to all my friends .... thank you !!!

Went here yesterday for food, first time trying Thai food and every dish I had was tasty and amazing. Starting off with 4 tapas style dishes, (crispy belly pork, porker skewers, salt and pepper squid and spicy duck rice balls) all bursting with flavour! My favourite though and what surprised me where the traditional Thai fishcakes that my girlfriend had, not a big fan of fish but they where amazing! Then on to a main course.. fried chicken with sticky rice and sweet chilli sauce garlic and ginger, again very tasty and well cooked!



Our waitress Ruth was great, very friendly and made sure all our needs where met.. cant wait to return already �

We have been wanting to go here for ages and finally got round to it after some xmas shopping. The decor is stunning and i loved the chilled out vibe.

Exceptional hot and sour soup! Not too hot, but all about the flavour, was probably the best I've had. I had the sizzling steak ( tiger bite or something like that) with noodles. Again, fantastic food. The service was very very good as well. A little bit pricy but you definitely get what you pay for!

We will definitely be back, I can heartily recommend this place. ( just maybe wait til payday though ;-))

The food was amazing left the restraunt very happy and very very full haha the staff did everything they could to make my dining experience as best as possible, overall an excellent evening with very good service will certainly be returning soon :)

I recently went here and the atmosphere is amazing. The food came on time and wasn’t waiting long. The chicken stir fry with cashew nuts was exceptional and would recommend this to anyone. I am definitely coming back here again as this is the BEST restaurant I have ever been to.

I enjoyed my first visit, the staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. The early (before 6pm) two course or three course deal was very good value.

The decor is interesting (liked the hand basins in the Ladies)

I will look forward to the next visit. �

Highly recommended the Toulouse sausage cooked Thai style, struggled with the sunken table few more Chang’s and I might have injured myself!

First visit to chaophraya last night as a treat from my fiance for my birthday. And what can i say but WOW.... both the food amd service were amazing... can not fault the place. We will defiantly be back again.

Best Thai restaurant ever!

A last minute work dinner - fantastic choice! Food was sublime, waitress was excellent, Thai Shiraz red wine was just wonderful. Only complaint - we drank the very last bottle of the wine! Probably for the best .... could have drunk far too much!! I hope there is a Chaophaya in the Midlands.

It was a spur of the moment visit, but they fitted us in. The food was lovely, particularly their own platter to start and the fried pork! Nice friendly service! If I’m going to be back in Manchester again I’d book in advance to be sure of not being disappointed!

Me and my husband ordered a red vegetarian curry and green vegetables curry for us with rice. Red curry was good but less vegetables than we expected. Green curry was quite bland.

We eat Thai food regularly and this was a good dinner but I would expect more on this price.

Excellent food but sadly he service on this visit was dire. Too few, slow and inattentive staff. Many tables waiting for the bill and not a waiter/waitress in sight. Took the edge off what could have, and should have, been an enjoyable evening with friends.

Myself and 3 friends visited on 14 July. The food was very nice there just wasn't enough of it. We all had a mixed starter which I felt at £10 per person lacked value for money, 2 then ordered steak and were pleased with this. I had a red chicken curry that contained 5 small pieces of chicken and my friend had the prawn green curry that contained just 5 prawns, her dish was £5 more than mine so I guess equated to £1 per prawn. My friends and I later snacked on crisps as were still hungry !! We eat in Manchester on a regular basis and this is the first time in a long time that I felt we did not get value for money. We will not be dining here again.

But this time went with my daughter, we have ordered mix starter, is £10 each they have got 2 spring roll, 2 fish cakes, 2 prawns tenpora, 2 union ring,2 satay, and one hand full of papaya salads. And we both order pad Thai. We had finished our starters.... waiting for our pad Thai 30 minutes later we got our main. Was disappointed this trips .
