Went today for Mother's day Sunday lunch, food was amazing as usual, staff all friendly and helpful and 3 course lunch well priced, will definitely be back thank you

Went on a dead Monday and got the 'today's special' : fajitas with rice and salad. Delicious and lots of chicken too (not 2 small pieces drowned in sauce like in so many places) & service was pleasant and swift. Thank you !

Went for afternoon tea yesterday with my parents and daughter after being let down elsewhere. As it turned out was really pleased this happened as we had the beautiful warm scones, huge piece of cake and beautiful fresh sandwiches. Lovely friendly staff and excellent service. Will definitely be going back for an evening meal and wouldn't hesitate recommending to others, thank you.

We popped in for a light lunch as had a big birthday meal planned later (well I thought it was a small one for two but it turned out to be a big one) I had the moules mariniere and my partner had the chicken sandwich. They were both gorgeous and reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and helpful. The location ideal. Would recommend it. We even went in the next day for a coffee. Great place.

Was for mothers day , so a set menu was all I am basing my review on.. Good choice on all 3 courses , two of us had the mushrooms they both said it was lovely, I had the seafood platter was nice. 3 mains were excellent , 2 beef and one pork..well coooked and with a choice of veg. The deserts were a knock out, all three of us were really impressed..the service was attentive but not intrusive, no waiting time no rush and no panic on a busy cover. Would recommend the place to friends and family, top marks .

This lovely wine bar has shown it takes customer satisfaction seriously.



Our booking for my husband's recent birthday could not be honoured without an hour's wait on an unexpectedly busy Friday night. Within minutes of me posting my disappointment on this site, I've been contacted and the issue has been resolved to my satisfaction. Well done Chapters.

Popped in for breakfast yesterday. Opted for the English breakfast. Great quality ingredients, lovely thick bacon, tasty sausages and black pud. I went for poached eggs which were cooked to perfection with the richest yolks I've ever seen or tasted. Coffee delicious too. Highly recommend! We will be back, definitely fancy an option or two from the cocktail and gin Menu! Brilliant and attentive staff

Had the most delicious vegan meal at Chapters Bistro. Called ahead to speak to John, the chef and he went all out with an incredible starter, main and even dessert! Would highly recommend Chapters and will definitely be visiting again! ��

Absolutely love Chapters Deli! I've never had a bad meal. Food is delicious with a varied menu, friendly service and excellent value for money. Right in the centre of Stokesley making it an ideal people watching spot too! Most recently visited for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed. We'll keep coming back!

Absolute amazing food, cocktails are Devine � service and staff super friendly and service was perfect!!! 5 star bistro would highly recommend �

Very disappointed - today I went in for a cocktail for my daughter’s birthday. It’s normally fantastic, but I paid £9.50 for a terrible porn star martini. Very runny and no fruit in or on it. Told the waiter who said it was “personal preference”! Said he makes 70 a day, really!? Needless to say we left and went elsewhere.

Had a lovely meal here tonight but on a Monday - Wednesday they do a tea time menu 3 courses for £12.95 bit disappointing that the don’t have these menus out was only until I requested the tea time menu that they brought them over to us would of been oblivious to this if I hadn’t looked up online, they had a cocktail menu saying ALL COCKTAILS 2 for 1 *excluding mocktails so we ordered 2 cocktails from the festive menu when the bill came they had charged us £17.90 for the cocktails which were just a small flute cocktails when we questioned this to the waitress showing the cocktail menu saying ALL COCKTAILS 2for 1 didn’t say anything about excluding festive cocktails? So surely they were still 2 for 1? Rang the manager said we still had to pay no real explanation questioned them numerous times on why it said 2 for 1 on all cocktails but we were paying full price for both didn’t have a valid answer?? Won’t be coming back shocking customer service didn’t admit they were in the wrong false advertising absolutely spoilt the night! So disappointing

Food was bland. Chicken was dry, had to send steak back and still wasn't as requested. I would have expected that the peppercorn sauce would have been reheated when the steak was being recooked, as it was cold when steak returned. First time here and expected a really good meal.

Walked in, was seated at a table that was still wet.

Waitress came over and basically threw the menus on the table. Not asking if we would like to order any drinks.



Staff need to be trained in customer service.



We ended up walking out because of the very poor service.

Ordered lemon pepper chicken the chicken was like RUBBER I alerted the waitress who took it away came back with a half apology asking if I wanted anything else HELLO should they not be offering to replace it. My husband finished his food which was very average and we sat and waiting to be asked if we would like a dessert etc but no one came back to the table. Tried to discuss with manager but his attitude was disgraceful will never eat at Chapters deli again
