Only stayed for one night in autumn and we rocked up late due to traffic but still received a warm welcome at the farm house. The pitch was easy to find and park up with power hook up. The site has a cafe/bar and toilet/showers and send to be a nice peaceful campsite.

Excellent weekend, fishing was first class, despite the weather on Saturday. Cafe and bar staff very friendly, food was superb. Showers and toilets were clean. Definitely worth a other vistπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Stayed here for a week in September 2017, lovely clean tidy site with several fields for caravans and camping. Showers and toilets were always clean each time I used them, unfortunately we didn't use the bar or cafe this time, but look forward to coming back next year to try them.

Stayed for the weekend 11th August 2017. First impressions was it was the facilities were a bit spread out. We were told one of the toilets wasn't working because they were blocked but generally okay.

Cafe also offered good food but the staff could do with smiling from time to time.

As for the camp field itself, pretty good and a nice setting in Lancashire.

HOWEVER, and this was our main gripe - the calibre of the campers on there!! Gotta say it, but just lots of chavvy families on site and I'm far from a snob, but blaring out loud music, loud arguments in the middle of the night?!! Show some respect for god sake! Last night we were treated to a couple of drunk idiots who decided that they would regail the whole field with their loud, drunken , foul mouthed conversation, sorry - rant, until at least 3am.

What was clearly lacking at this site, was a bit of owner policing! It says no loud noise or music after 11pm, but where were the site owners when this clearly wasn't happening? Young children there too! Hopefully they just slept through it!

Nice site, but I'm afraid I won't be going back there anytime soon. If you have kids, or.like sleep, I would boom elsewhere.

It's a well organised site although when we stayed the main facilities were a short walk away with field facilities consisting of portable loos and a tap. Fire pits permitted although cost of logs, firepit rental and showers all stack up. Site looks like it would be good for events.

Nice, clean camp site with shower block, toilets, cleaning facilities and cafe/bar. Been a few times now and enjoy it every time!

Just spent the weekend here and had a great time with my 2 youngest boys the site is very well run by friendly staff and the prices in cafe and bar are very reasonable trying to go very soon. Thanks charity farm πŸ‘

Fantastic campsite, was really impressed. Went with my daughter for a couple of nights and now going back with the whole family at the weekend. Really clean facilities and friendly and helpful staff.
