Charity Lifeline is a Community Interest Company founded in March 2013. A Community Interest Company (often called a Social Enterprise) differs from a charity. We are a business and can generate a profit, but we must use this to support our chosen community of interest. In our case this is small community and voluntary groups, financially vulnerable people and the environment. We generate our income by selling unwanted and new goods, mainly online, and we will use our profits to • Offer information, advice and support to small community and voluntary groups on how they can gather unrestricted income and gain more financial independence. • Offer volunteering opportunities to the financially vulnerable• Upcycle and recycle goods to reduce the level of waste going to landfill
