Unless anyone knows differently facebook wil not allow us to change our name to "Cornwall Kayak and SUP hire" as they seem to think it is too different to Charlestown watersports, therefore the only option is to shut this page and open a new one with the above name. Will leave it for a day or two in case there is a way to do it but if not then will open a new facebook page and send you all invites to join us. Thank you all for your patience. At last we have everything in place and we open today. We have double and single kayaks with deluxe seats for long term hire and also inflatable and hard kayaks of 11'6 and 10'6 lengths. All equipment comes with buoyancy aids, paddles and leashes for the paddleboards. You can book these on the website which went live today at www.paddleboardsupkayakhire.co.uk or just call us and book by telephone. Feel free to have a look and any suggestions gratefully received. By the way, we have asked facebook to change this facebook page name to Cornwall kayak and SUP hire. Lets hope the weather picks up and hopefully see you on the water.

Hope all of you had a superb Easter. The weather was beautiful. I am hoping for an answer regarding the insurance in the next two days for the long term hire business as described in previous post, the web site is well under way so hopefully not long before we can start. Thank you all for your patience and please note we are no longer trading at Charlestown.

Many thanks to all of you for your continued support and interest. Have now ordered some more equipment so we now have 12 inflatable paddleboards, 10 hard paddleboards and 12 kayaks. Am now waiting on insurance quotes so hope I have not jumped the gun ! Prefer customers to pick up equipment but also will offer delivery. This should suit holiday lets, holiday homes, campsites, hotels etc with in the surrounding area. Be grateful if you could share this with anyone who may be interested. The pricelist below shows from half a day to 15 days, and of course there is discount the longer you have the board / Kayak and the number of them. This will replace operating from Charlestown. Thank you for your interest.

Since Just before Christmas we have been in discussions with the new owners of Charlestown. Unfortunately there plans are different to previous owners and we will not be operating this season. My apologies to all of you. However, what do you think of the idea of hiring Paddleboards and Kayaks from half a day to 14 days, either picked up by hirer or delivered to you including buoyancy aids. If you like the idea could you like it and share as this would let us know if the idea is popular? Thank you to all of you for your support at Charlestown and look forward to meeting you on the water once recovered from shoulder operation.

Apologies for the lack of posts but I really want to push on this winter with my prototype hollow carbon raceboard which uses a patented centreboard system which allow you to bring the mast track back and OVER the centreboard, which allows for faster reaching. This is something we want to put into production. We also are developing a racing SUP. Pictures below of the progress .

If Charlestown Water Sports rigged up a Paddle board race on inflatables in the harbour who would join in??🏄‍♂️🔆 Could set up a small course in the outer harbour, race round three or four boards at a time. Be great fun, good laugh, great spectator sport as well. Like it if you would like something like this to happen
