Charlie Allen is the quintessential Modern-British Tailor creating hand made suits & menswear for over 35 years.
Charlie Allen Bespoke Description
Charlie Allen is a London-born designer and third generation fully-trained tailor. He went to the Chelsea School of Art, followed by two years studying menswear at the Royal College of Art. His first collection sold internationally and won the International Linen Designer of the Year award and was head of menswear at the RCA from 1994 to 1997.
Having established himself as a leading UK bespoke tailor, he opened the Charlie Allen Menswear Company in Islington in 1992, his client base has grown through word of mouth and coverage in GQ, Arena, FHM, LíUomo Vogue and many other publications.
As a designer Charlie has worked with Austin Reed, BG, Katherine Hamnett, George Davies Partnership, BHS, John Lewis, Takaoka, Umbro, George, and many others.

More details of the grey Double breasted! The lining is a @the_lining_company special peacock print. A few notes on the coat:
- on the right hand side of the coat theres only one buttonhole. This is called the 'Jigga' button. (no reference to jay-Z) This anchors together the jacket and keeps it in balance.
- The ticket pocket: customers often ask 'whats the point of it?' the ticket pocket slims down the body and creates more shape.
