About Charlwood Village Football Club

Charlwood Village Football Club is a community group based in Surrey, UK. The club formed in 1996 and is built on the foundation of giving local young men the opportunity to play organised, competitive football, to represent their local community, boost fitness and have fun. Ages range from 16 upwards. In 2018 we achieved FA Charter Standard Status (now known as England Accreditation). The club consists of four men's teams: - Saturdays- Sunday Firsts- Sunday Reserves- Sunday VetsPlaying in the Mid-Sussex, and Sunday Sussex, football league districts. We are two time winners of Surrey FA County Cup, three time league cup winners (two Sussex, one Redhill), and three time Redhill & District league title winners. Home matches, summer training and fitness sessions take place at the Charlwood Recreation and Sports Ground. Winter training sessions take place at K2 Crawley, and Oakwood Sports Centre, Horley. CVFC plays a large active role in the local Charlwood community beyond football, with members regularly volunteering to help run summer fetes, music festivals and community litter picking days. Proudly sponsored by Charlwood Auto Repairs. Supported in the community by The Half Moon Pub Charlwood. Photographed by Simon Roe, The Non-League Snapper.
