We will continue to support you and your animals through this unusual time. There is much physiotherapy can offer to help manage pain and improve health and fitness remotely. This includes equipment hire, exercise prescription, pain management advice, environmental advice and teaching manual techniques you can use at home. The good news is that to help you through this uncertain time consultations fees are now reduced by over 50% and ten minutes phone advice continues to be a free service. Here’s how it works.

This: “The beginning of dressage is all for the horse... Everything we do should be to help the horse find a place to carry us in a relaxed and balanced, pain-free way that will not prematurely break down his body. “

I am often asked why so many young horses break down with performance-limiting lameness and orthopedic pathology. Obviously many factors may contribute to this such as breeding, conformation, management, training surfaces and trauma. However, the biomechanical effects of modern training methods cannot be discounted. This article is a good starting point to understanding how.

Having worked with the fabulous team at Cliffe Equine Vets since I was a student, I am proud and delighted to be able to announce that I have been asked to be an ‘Equine Physiotherapy Consultant’ for the practice in Laughton. Those who know me well will appreciate what this means to me with regard to my long held obsession with team-working In Musculoskeletal care. I am very excited about the plans afoot for 2020 and I look forward to working more with this forward-thinking and vibrant practice..Watch this space and check my out website for the latest news.
