Charmed Life Festival

So after a few days to reflect firstly we would like to thank every single person that worked, played and attended Charmed Life Festival this year. Me and Charlie put everything into the festival with planning starting 6 months ago only for the weather to be so unkind to us on the day, it’s truly heart breaking for us!! We personally fund the whole festival with no large backers or sponsors on board so we’re banking on a sunny day to at least break even this year which due to the weather didn’t happen. We will be having a few months off to look over the figures probably and decide on what we are going to do moving forward.
In the meantime we want to thank everyone single one of you for your ongoing support, it really does mean a lot to us. Much love Gareth & Charlie

THANK YOU! We just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that attended Charmed Life Festival yesterday. There are too many of you to thank personally but from the teams setting up, traders, contractors, staff on the day, artists/bands and most of all the people that still supported us by coming out to brave the wet and cold and dance in the rain. YOUR ALL AWESOME! The weather wasn't kind but it didn't dampen your spirits! What a great day out we have just had! Family friendly event with a really good vibe, loved the bunting and the way the park was lit. The silent disco was a firm favourite, our girls thought it was fab! The bands were really good too. We brought early bird tickets, so wasn't too expensive for a family day out! It did seem quite empty though, and I did feel sorry for the vendors who I assume didn't have a good day. Hopefully next year it will be advertised a bit better.

We were in charge of running the comedy tent, and we had so much fun making the guys who came to see us laugh and enjoy themselves. Thank you Gareth!

When are tickets going on sale for next year? �

Really hope this festival comes back again next year! Just needed a few more lights in the trees as it was getting dark. The Total Stone Roses were great! �

Really enjoyed it and atmosphere was great. Will definitely (maybe) be going back again next year - especially if you have oasis and stone roses acts again as they were the highlight for me. Thank you for my free birthday drink��

Had an amazing time with family and friends, something for everyone. Can't wait for next year!

Great day really relaxed kids loved it. so much for them to do! Staff great. looking forwards to next year's one if it happens! Loved the oacies tribute band amazing!

Great day out as a family, impressed with the facilities for changing the baby. Lots of things for kids to do and run around freely which was lovely to see! Great music and atmosphere definitely going again next year for £15 early bird tickets �

Brilliant day, as soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere, all the staff were amazing and so friendly, will definitely be going next year and recommending to all

Absolutely fantastic day! For a first year of a festival I think it was set out and managed amazingly!! My daughter is 6 and she had the best time even when it was getting dark and I asked her to put her coat on she replied "no I'm not going home" lol.

I felt the bar staff did an amazing job and were very friendly, and the bins were emptied continuously meaning there was very little mess around the park. The silent disco was a big hit with our group of family and friends.



Our groups ages ranged from 4 to 50 and every single person was catered for at this festival hope to see it happening again next year. And if people want to see it succeed and be a little more packed out then we should spread the word!!!! Well done team charmed life keep it going x

Absolutely Loved Charmed Fest, both as a customer and a performer.. no wait for loos or bar and every age catered for good vibes all round... also great vibe on the acoustic stage sound team were great and the sound itself was brilliant was an honour to be picked for the 1st year running that is @[100000076794874:Gareth Wright]

A good mix of music, entertainment and traders.

Excellent work and I can't wait to be a part of it again next year!

Loved the mellow family atmosphere having been to victorious and getting hacked off with 14 yr old girls pissed up itcwas refreshing to have an older adult and younger child crowd.Obviously tribute bands won't attract young trendy kids and let's hope that's how it stays 👍We loved it and weather permitting would return everytime😀😎

For a first time it was great however a few ramps in places wouldn't go a miss as I found it hard to get my wheelchair round some places because of curbs other than that it was great id definitely come back next year! Good job everyone
