When we arrived the parking wasn't too bad but if i had to make a suggestion....why not splash some money to get better tvs. The control didn't work and the back was missing on it. The buttons on the tv were useless too. Volume up and down button both turned it up. It was freezing. The shower water was cold.
However, it was all fresh and clean and the hospitality was 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ guy came in and gave us a heater and checked later to see if it was warm enough for us. Friendly enough people.
I only stayed one night but was very pleased with the hotel. Friendly staff and good location.
Charnwood Hotel was a great no thrills, get what it says on the tin overnight stay. The double room we had wasn't huge but more than enough. Staff were all polite and very helpful. Location to the beachfront and main strip was brilliant. A meager 3-5 minute walk and you are right in the mixer of everything Skegness has to offer. Great for weekend visits but I'd think about maybe going to somewhere a little fancier for longer stays.
Location is great close to seafront and all the atmosphere room was OK apart from bath tap was very slow and TV stopped working, other than that good place to stay
Decent room and had everything we needed for a short stay. Had a room next to some people with kids, so was pretty loud early. Would defo stay again

We all enjoyed our stay with Mark and Lewis always made welcome will be paying many visits my mum thinks mark and Lewis are brilliant.
Great location, staff were lovely and breakfast was good. As we approached the door we were greeted by two tin buckets full of cigarette ends which we were quite shocked by. We stayed in a family room on the ground floor, It was a little noisy at night though. We could hear the staff changing a barrel and talking to one another. The room itself could do with a lick of paint and updating. It could do with some new curtains as they kept getting stuck when we tried to close them. There was no wardrobe to hang any clothes. No extra pillows so my husband had to prop himself up with towels. After showering the bathroom floor was soaked, the shower jetted off in all directions and there needs to be a better door on the shower and not just a curtain. The shower also took a while to drain. There was no soap in the hand dispenser in the bathroom either. It was fine for one night but we wouldn't be able to do any longer.
We spent the weekend here. 2 adults & 2 children in family room. Great size room. Extremely welcoming staff & very friendly. Breakfast was definitely 5 star. Nice family friendly bar with karaoke & separate pool room (which the kids loved). Safe car parking on site. Well situated & close to main attractions, but on a quiet side road. Would definitely return for another stay & recommend to others! Thank you to the owners & staff for a great weekend.
