Charter is building a platform that provides satellite operators with an end-to-end collaborative mission planning pipeline so they can launch missions faster, cheaper, and more easily. Launch costs may have dropped, but space is still an expensive business. We believe that too many great ideas by small, scrappy teams are getting waylaid by high capital expenditure requirements and outdated system processes. Mission planning today is slow, inefficient, and expensive. It forces operators to shoulder an enormous amount of cost at the earliest stages, when they can least afford to pay.
