Cheapest Fancy Dress

I feel the need to write this review in response to the disgusting way myself and my wife were dealt with by a rude and obnoxious member of staff.
We ordered a fancy dress costume which upon delivery, and prior to trying it on, we noticed a split down the seam which deemed the item unusable. We then phoned, explained the damage and were assured a full refund would be granted upon them receiving the costume. One week later having heard nothing I phoned to see what was going on whereby I was told, in no uncertain terms, that we damaged the item and therefore were not eligible for a refund. The bottom line is that we are now both out of pocket for the cost of the item and also don't have the item to attempt our own repair!
They insist they check every item before dispatch and therefore cannot possibly be to blame but at the same point we check every item we purchase upon deliver and when we noticed the damage returned it!
Customer service is king in the retail industry and this company failed spectacularly! Avoid!
