Last week was a great week for us. We achieved a huge and significant milestone of 3 Million daily checks and 150 Million data points (questions) We were shortlisted in the Brake Fleet Safety Awards in the Fleet Safety Product Award Category
And we were also shortlisted in the Transport Times - National Transport Awards in the Transport Supplier of the Year Category.
... There was other incredible news that we will share over the coming weeks.
We are very proud of what we have achieved and what we continue to achieve. It is testament to our hard work and endeavour

All ready for a busy day ahead at this years Tip-Ex Tank-Ex

As a solicitor and director of CheckedSafe I frequently talk to our customers and others about ways to improve compliance. Sometimes drivers need a little nudge to remind them of their responsibilities and what they have already agreed to do.
The DVSA's very helpful Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness (Nov 2018) sets out at page 29 the position that I frequently advocate. I have extracted the relevant part below.
As it says, the TC can take action against a driver that fails... to carry out a proper walk round check. That action is by way of a driver conduct hearing.
This is an easy win for operators as it means they can use the regulatory bodies to police those drivers who need a nudge and at the same time gain the operator kudos from the regulatory bodies because it demonstrates that they are complying with the undertaking they gave on the grant of their O-Licence.
Of course, it helps if the operator has a digital system to enable them to monitor drivers fully. That is where CheckedSafe comes in. Our system gives operators the tools needed to maintain compliance and thus achieve everyone's aim of having safer vehicles and drivers on the road
