Chef Beijing

We ordered a takeaway which arrived half an hour late. The food was cold, disgusting and inedible.

When I rang, I was told manager would call me back. He never bothered...

I had ordered through Hungryhouse, who were also useless. They phoned the restaurant who said they wouldn’t refund and HH parroted this but offered a £10 credit for a £36.50 meal.

Got to be the worst Chinese I've ever eaten. It was cold had no flavour but very salty

Food is awful, but does come with a surprising freebie on the side - a shouting and swearing owner when you call up to complain that it's late and cold.

If you're reading this, honestly, don't order from them. I've never had such a shocking experience with a takeaway.

The only thing cooked as it should be was the pancake rolls.

Absolutely disgusted by the way I was spoken to this evening by a member of staff. Firstly the food was over 25 minutes late, so I called and asked when it would be arriving. The response to this was 10 minutes and a phone being slammed down on me. Then fifteen minutes later when the food arrived it was beyond freezing. I called up to complain and got told: "Bring the food back to us and I will kill myself if it's cold!". I have ordered from them several times and never will he again. I'll be taking this a lot further as I've never been spoken to like this before, especially as a customer. Disgusting - DO NOT ORDET!

Just had another excellent meal here. Always friendly and accommodating. Been coming to chef Beijing for years and expect to for many more.

Diabolical charge for home delivery, you have to spend 40.00 to get delivery!! really! there are other takeaways who are in the same area yet charge 1.50 ...and a minimum spend is 10.00 on a meal is for delivery! chef Beijing are you lot for real???? this is done via just eat online, all i can say is this is disgusting on your part and when the food arrives it is disgusting.....you get a zero rating for being so greedy in what you do.
If you live in wixam,s or wilstead this is what they want you to spend 40.00 if you want your food delivered.....clearly deluded and would never order again from Chef Beijing in Bedford.

Nice food but long waiting times

Called to make an order .. a rude man answered and said no I can't make an order cuz they are busy and to ring back in a few hours if I still want food. Disgusting! Surprised your still open!

We waited almost 2 hours for our delivery despite being told it would be an hour. I had to phone twice to find out how long we would have to wait and got the impression that they had forgotten it. In hindsight it would have been better if they had. When it turned up the starter was greasy, lukewarm and tasteless. However, the main course was a revelation. I didn't think anyone could serve food quite like that and not be prosecuted. I wouldn't have served it to pigs. It looked as if the chicken had been boiled and the sauce was tasteless. I had ordered a medium Thai red curry and my partner a mild one. They both had the same watery, tasteless sauce. The rice was dried out and the vegetables had a pool of oil at the bottom. I phoned and asked for my money back and said they could have the food back. When the driver turned up to collect it he offered me half my money back. When I refused he phoned the manager and I had to argue to get all my money returned. I was then told not to order from them again. I said there was no chance I would. Very rude manager. 1 star is the lowest rating, this food is not even worth that.

Disgusting! Bland and plain. My egg fried rice had barely any egg in and tasted like boiled rice. The prawn dish was equally as tasteless. My partner was also disappointed with his as it lacked in flavour! We ordered two cans of drink with our meal which arrived wrong and were also multipack cans! (Tut tut)

Yellow prawn crackers! Bitterly disappointed and won't be returning or recommending.
