Great hospital. Lovely doctors. Only let down by a few Agency nursing staff.
(My personal experience) Food is OK, portions are so small. Hard working staff in a very busy hospital.

Been here for the birth of our second child. The birthing center has been absolutely fantastic. Very competent and friendly staff, they made us feel at home and helped us with great sweetness and professionalism. The only slight issue was a noisy fan in the room, but this was absolutely nothing compared to the great service we received. Highly recommended. We did not experience the labour ward, but all examinations and prenatal courses we had at the hospital were great. Again, professional, punctual and friendly staff. Great!

Twenty minute so far trying to find out if my friend is still in the C & W. They need to answer the telephone occasionally.
Nine months later......worst than ever. The computer that answers the phone has not been set up in such a way that it can put you though to a human being when it can't understand what you want. So it tries a range of random departments. I ended up being put through to Mental Health (not entirely inappropriate after 40 minutes) and a helpful man there said he would put me through to the switchboard but, after another half hour, it became clear nobody was going to answer. UTTERLY HOPELESS.

Excellent service, incredible Doctors, Nurses and support staff who gave my friend the very best of care. They were also so accommodating to me as a visitor. A real jewel in the crown of our brilliant NHS. Thank you so much.

Great experience! I had my baby girl there in the midwife led birth centre and the midwifes helped me and my husband to have a great memory of our firstborn.
We are both very thankful to the whole team that was there for us at that time, but especially to midwife Jo, who had amazing patience.
It was a whole year ago, but I hope she'll see this and remember the greatest screamer of all times from 10.09.2016 4.33 am.

Terrible emergency service! Waited for 4 hours simply to get a medicine. They put me to a room after waiting for 3 hours, but no one never came to attend the room and check on me or give me anything until I have to find the doctor again! I had to keep pressing the doctor and the nurse to give me the medicine as they kept saying they were doing straight away which they didn't. In the end they told me the medication was no available and asked me to go somewhere else next day. I told them I had not slept for 33 hours and haven't eaten for 10 hours, and I was really on the edge to pass out because I am suffering from a bad cold, but both of the nurses just didn't care and walked away. I simply asked if I could just leave and pick it up next morning as they need to order it, the doctor told me I would need to go to another clinic and requeue all over again if I don't wait for it there but they wouldn't tell me how long it may take to wait for it.
I understand they might be busy in the A&E sometimes, but clearly it wasn't the case at the time I was there. I only went to A&E because I really needed to and I was following the guidance due to the circumstances I was in. I usually do respect the doctors and nurses at the hospital, but it really disappointed me with how those two doctor and nurse handled the patient, particularly the doctor which he was clearly playing his game there which is very unprofessional!

I've had my daughter and son born here, and each time, baby and I were well looked after. I am grateful for all the help I received.

I would have given 5 stars, but deduct one only because I was told that the hospital doesn't do neonatal circumcision for those that request it.

The best for trauma, absolutely inspiring people working so hard every day and trying to make the best of it. Emergencies unit though has personal behaving in an inhuman way and I have seen personally managers having a laugh at people even on risk of heart attack waiting for more than 4 hours on week day, nurse on the door takes arbitrary decisions that put people on risk, security called against a guy having a seizure (unbelievable) while the screens were showing they are attending in 1hr average . Once you pass that dreadful step then magic and hard work finally happens, if you are still alive.
